R7's acuweather is saying things will dry up by noon on Sunday. If this happens, i'm taking a ride to the VBC with a ETA of 2pm. Grab a quick bite to eat and then ride a little loop around the Bean or in the general area. The pace will be nothing crazy as i'm sure a lot of sand has washed over the roads with all this rain and it'll be my first ride on the KTM motard

I don't know how it is where you'z live but the roads are dry here and the clouds look to be a bit broken up.. it could happen Also there's no green on the local radar

well, since it is Mothers Day, I will be out with my family until 2 or so, so I may have to miss this if you guys leave soon.

According to www.accuweather.com and www.noaa.com, the rain will be spotty all day, so I might just do a local loop of my own in between the showers today.

I guess i was the crazy one, i was the only one there on a bike I even ate my favorite VBC burger outside as well
It was a little bit chilly but most important, not a drop of rain in all of the 120 miles i did. And i don't think i've ever owned somthing that got 90 miles to the gallon, i'm still on the break-in so i did take it kinda easy but still impressive

Yup, but i should have said at "least" 90 mpg. I don't have a odometer yet (it's on back order) but i know round trip from my house to the bean is 120 miles and i did take a few side roads that i normally don't so i'm sure it was even more miles. I filled up before i left and filled up again when i got back in town, it took 1.3 gallons, the bike only has a 1.8 gallon tank I'm sure it'll drop off once i get a bit more agressive on it
