Day 7We had another late start. But finally got out by noon and headed to the gap which was hoping. Headed North through the Gap and onto the Foothills parkway, east rt 321, East Rt 73 (Little River Rd) which is a very nice scenic twisty road! Stoped in Gatlinburg for lunch just in time to keep us out of the rain! The retrn trip took us south on 441, 19 West and 129 back towards the house. Just over 200 miles. Should have been more, but after a full week it was just enough not too over do it. We are hoping to sneek in some miles tomorrow possilbly work our way over to 28 north & over to the Gap to get a run or two in and watch some people tear up the gap while hanging out in a corner somewhere before heading home. If it rains we will just pack up and head out early. I dont want to come home.. |
