hey everyone, planning to take a ride to newport and maybe beyond on friday 6/10 during the day. the departure time is flexible, but i was thinking around a 930am meeting in wareham at the CVS on main street (really easy to get to for those of you who are unfamiliar). I do know some pretty nice back roads to newport, but i am always anxious to find new ways, so please make any suggestions. wa can have a secondary meeting spot at the dartmouth walmart around 1015 for those of you who dont feel like driving to wareham. we can also meet in newport at johnnys atlantic beach club, and if someone knows some good roads there we can take a peek. weather looks like it will be good. i know wareham is a little off the scope for some of you, but maybe newport will be a little closer to you.

Cvs at 9:30 sounds good to me . I have to be home around 3:00 for the kids . That cvs is by the dunkin donuts in wareham ctr , right .

I was at Vanson's today getting a new jacket and buzzed down to Newport, been there before, just for a destination to ride to and ride around, my gosh could RI people learn to drive your cages? One lady in an Explorer backed up at a traffic light since she over shot it, nearly running me and my beloved R1 over...

yes, its the cvs by dunkies and hollywood video downtown. i havent traveled the roads to get there in a while, but well figuree it out. i dont think weell be in/around newport to long as jeff has to be back by 3 and i have some commitments that day as well. once we get to newport ill be kind of lost as far as good roads go, but i think i listed enough ghood meeting spots that hopefully anyone whos coming can meet us somewhere along the way and maybe theyll know something we dont. even if its just to newport and back it will be worth the ride

and yes, people there are as confused as people on the cape when it comes to driving. no idea whats going on.

I saw a report on the news a few weeks back that stated RI drivers were the most unaware drivers in the country. And by unaware they meant both of their surroundings while driving and of the traffic laws.

No surprise to me, I ride with these idiots almost every day

great, i really look forward to meeting some of you. jaynnus see you at 1015. 95 fizzer guy definetly come say hi. i have a silver and black 954, the front fairing that is usually silver is black, and jeff has a blue '04 r1. haumschd thoses national scores on the driving test are disgusting, i guess it makes sense especially when you see what some people on the road are doing. see you all tomorrow

Wish I could go - gotta work till 7pm tomorrow night - think we're leaving the bikes home this weekend when we head up to Wareham thanks to the "isolated thunderstorms" forecast...

By the way, everyone watch out for dem catepillars in Wareham - they'll take you by surprise and try to eat you if they can...

hey guys and girl that was a blast. glad i got to meet you. id definetly like to check those roads out again and see some new ones in newport that jane was talkking about. give me a ring or email about sunday jeff, i think ill be around, may try to get on my buddies boat if its nice, but the bike always take priority to anything else (even the girlfriend sometimes, which pisses her off)and ken your bikes sound is the balls. thanks for leading the way jane, those roads were awesome
