Holy crap, so its our fault?

If you were that worried that a rider went down you could have backtracked.

All we knew was that we got completely separated from the pack and came to a 4 way intersection and had no clue which way you went. So we picked the same path that we had came up.

I would have thought that the leader of a group ride would have stopped at the first 4 way intersection and waited up when he noticed that 1/3 of the group was missing.

I wasnt going to run around pointing fingers until that last post. Yeah he was riding his own ride, nothing wrong with that, but you knew that he was a newbie, even more reason for you to have waited at that intersection.

I didnt have a big problem with what happened until you posted that.

yes..100% your fault..you got lost because you sepaerted from the group.... PERIOD

there were a couple of 4-way intersections...do we stop at all of them?...no just the ones you turn on... and there were what close to 20 riders? we got into 3 groups.....there is no way for me to tell who is with us and who isnt at the front...
I assumed the veteran riders that were playing sweeper for the group would know that

5. If you're leading, or in the 'fast' group of the group, wait up for the slower riders. Hammer it through the corners all you want, but then take it easy on the straights until everyone catches up. If you get to an intersection where you're going to turn, make sure everyone's with you before you turn...or make sure someone that knows the route is going to wait for them. Nothing sucks like getting ditched on a group ride...and it's unnecessary
...and then you guys didnt even show up at the destination

...and all 3 of you have my cell phone...and I got no call

guys chill it was a misunderstanding and no one is at fault.

I was in the front and I looked back and I thought everyone was there. There were so many bikes it was hard to tell. I'm sorry we got split up man. I thought everyone understood that we would wait at turns and if you didn't see anyone just go straight.

yeah its cool, Im over it. We got confused, and separated. If the blame is 100% mine then fine Ill take it.

But in my defense I didnt think we were turning off. Last I knew we were heading towards the Bean and we took the route that we thought was towards the Bean. We did go by the Bean on the way back but you werent there, you were probably still waiting for us where you stopped.

I assumed you screwed on us and didnt notice you lost the group, so we went home.

And Ryan I dont have your cell. I didnt write it down, my bad.But we did pull over on the way home and the guy on the Gox called someone from your group. So you shouldnt have been wondering about it all day either

Ken and I will have to plan a "cruisers only" ride. We both know how each other ride now, and we know how to wait for slower riders.

You have to ignore Ryan sometimes. He has a habit of blowing up stuff not worth blowing up. I'm working with him, though. He will learn how to chill out one day.

I suppose there is somet truth to this... however if someone did go down...I would have been the asshole for not turning around..

it is all fine and dandy because is was only a misunderstanding and nothing happened...but I feel you were itching to get home as soon as we got there and used this as your chance to bolt...and not taking anyones else into consideration on this decision.. ken got sperated from his friend and Keith from his cousin....

and I most certainly know how to wait for slower riders..you wait at the next turn...the slower riders need to know what to do when you get separated from the group....

I will make sure I make this clear if I ever decide to lead a ride again...but i dont see taht happening anytime soon

you lost your plate? Damn.

People were losing shit all over the place. Good thing no one went down.

The Dyno/Bikewash sucks without a dyno. Ive been to 3, 1 had very nice ladies, but not this one. Usually the dyno is enough of a distraction to get over it
