My weekend is shot, so I wanted to get a quality ride in sometime Thursday or Friday.

Thinking of heading to MM Thursday, never been but heard it is worth checking out...? Maybe head towards CT on some good back roads?

I am a safe/sane, 2nd year rider looking to do (ironically enough) a safe & sane ride.

Can leave as early as 5ish, can ride until the cows come home. Logging >=150 miles would be a plus.

Judging by what I saw last weekend, a lot of them left the Complex at last call, but they might have gone out to eat before going home.

Wow its great to see so much interest on a weekday ride.

I should say that I am not too familiar with the roads here, I have this loop I was doing where I go up 295, on to industrial road, then theres some road (106?) that goes across a pond/reservoir, and just wander from there. I think it brings me to Route 6 at some point.

Think of me more as an eager riding partner and less like I know where I'm going.

As it turns out my plans for tomorrow call for me leaving Providence and ending up in Salem MA. Going to MM makes more sense for me now than riding west into CT.

I can (hopefully) bail from Providence no later than 4:30, any idea on how quickly I could get up to Framingham? Not sure if it's cutting it too close or not.

If anyone in RI wanted to find a way to MM that works too...

if you are talking about the reservoir in Scituate RI, try riding on Rt 12, Rt14 thats a nice little loop. Although it is short

Well my plan changes again. I am coming back to RI tomorow, so maybe up for a 2nd ride towards CT tomorrow PM.

Ahhh Yes there's always next time....

Next time I will be leaving earlier, only staying briefly and yes riding afterwards! I have a few roads I found right down the road East bound on 2A/119 East from MM and need to adventure a little more!
