The resturant serves lunch and dinner, no breffis.
AUG 26 - 28
check in on fri is any time after 11am
check out on sun is 11am.

No pets aloud
they sell firewood and ice
you can bring your own fire wood but no demolition scraps. no nails staples, srews, etc...
Best time to call is monday thru fri after 11am as the bartender is the one taking the reservation.

Do we need ressies, or could we just show up and pay the site fee and say "Hey how you guys doing, I'm so and so." ???

If so, count me in as a huge maybe!

Through talking to them, did they mention a "capacity" per site? Do they limit you to a # of tents, or is it basically you can cramp yourself as much as you want? Would just hate to find out that theres no sites within range. I'll check with the old lady and see what she says.

My birthday is the 25th, I'd just consider it a present to myself (weekend of drinking all night and riding all day ). I'm only 30 minutes down the road from the park, but.......ya know.

as I remember you can put 2 tents per site but the site fee is $25 for 1 tent and another $25 for the second one. not real sure about that though.

i'll be in southern vt with my bike.

if there's interest i can lead a ride on some cool roads in southern vt.

we had not set plan as of yet, probably just going to go out exploring but if you had some places in mind that would be cool.
Although I'm not sure if mark is going to have his bike sorted out by then so we will have to wait and see.

Oh, ssg, I'm not pitching a tent, we have a huge cap on the back of my truck and a bed set up. So we won't be tenting it. We will be dry and comfy off the ground.

So if that's the case, someone could pitch a tent on your site and split the cost with ya? I guess someone could do the same with mine as i'll be sleeping in my trailer

I'll have to wait and see about the KTM Sean, they ordered the parts but who knows if it'll fix it or not I could run with no lights as a last resort

Meh, I live so close I may as well just drink myself to sleep and pretend I'm camping. If anyone brings a sportbike and plans on riding on either that saturday or sunday, I'd be happy to meet you at the camp grounds in the morning. ;D

Only daytripping for me, but I'm down with some dual-sporting on Saturday as long as a skidplate isn't required.

That's not what you told me 2 weeks ago at the races?
And my dualsport still isn't fixxed and probably won't be by the weekend so "if" I was to go, I wouldn't be dual sporting it

Yeah I know, I left my clear shield there a while ago. I've been riding so much this year that I haven't even had the need for it

I really want to dual sport it if I go but I have no working lights at all on the orange bike. I guess it probably won't be a problem if I ride mid pack? I'll put the bumpies back on tomorrow

i'm on my way to vt tonight

so if you decide to come up to southern vt and see two ktm 520's a black one and an orange one it will be us.

we'll be doing some riding fri and sat.

we'll be in the stratton area and might end up at the outback for lunch or supper.

Not sure if there is a dirt/dualsport/mud route anyone has in mind, just keep in mind I only have a 80-100 mile range on paved roads and maybe 50 miles of trails before i'm running out of fuel
I'm not sure what is going to be more fun, drinking after hours or the ride

Can ride Sat and/or Sun now, but we'll likely be riding dirt (all off-road) one day. I don't know a lot of northern d-s roads around there, but I do know some -- most of the stuff you've already been on. Some you would NOT want to take a GS down, but they're all classified as "roads," for what that's worth.

If this goes down this weekend i could probaly show you guys around some decent roads.I live in pittsfield (berkshires) hopefully the fork seals will be done by this weekend on the rc, but if not i could borrow a friends dualsport.

well we are staying at the mohawk park camp ground in charlemont ma right on rt 2

if anyone is interested in dual sporting it lets plan to leave there at 10:30 - 11am. I think there is a gas station right down the street if folks need to top off.

I have no set route in mind we were just going to go out and explore, so I make no promises as the the quality of the ride.
