9/29-10/1 Route ideas

Ok..this is in the thinking stages but since I can't make the big ride....I'm thinking about a couple of days riding @ the end of Sept. I'd leave the Boston area on Thursday 9/29 heading West..swing North thru VT and eventually down thru NH maybe ending up at Loudon for the Races on Sat.....that's the beginning of the idea. Anyone with "must do" roads, routes, places to eat, sleep or other suggestions? I have a pretty good idea of most of the roads and plan to pull out the maps but thought I'd ask..
