Girls Ride, July 2nd 2006

We are going to ride the beautiful Berkshires Region. Departure no later than 9:30 a.m. from my place in Springfield MA. (email or message me for address) Pace will be moderate. Definition of moderate: over the speed limits on the backroads, out of towns/villages but NO triple digits (I'd say an average of 15-20 miles over speed limits on quiet, deserted roads). Speed limit will be observed when going thru towns/villages. We will wait for the slower riders at every road turn so NOBODY gets left behind or get lost! We will have a few rest stops, and stop for lunch.

Gaz up before you get here if possible. If some of you want to get here much earlier, we can arrange something to have breakfast togueter. I can also accomodate a few girls if you need to get down here on Friday night if you're coming from far. Planning to return before dinner around 4:00 p.m.

Everyone will be given a map, with marked rest stops, lunch meeting spot and traced route.

Please plan on bringing anything necessary for the ride; tank bag or backpack with bottle of water to keep hydrated, a snack, some cash, sandals for when we will stop for lunch (if you want to take off your riding boots or shoes), ID's (insurance card, driver's license)

And please remember to dress for the CRASH, not for the RIDE!! It's better to sweat than bleed and skin grafts!

This is gonna be an awsome time, the Berkshires Region is absolutly beautiful with it's lakes, water creeks, mountains, etc. the roads are awsome, and the twisties are great!

Add your name to the list please to confirm and let everyone know who's coming!! Looking forward to see you on the ride! Email me (littlebusybee@hotmail.com) or message me for my cell # and address.

*snoopy dance*

I'm SO there. And I'm actually riding. I won't be standing on freaking route 2 waving flags.

I'm not going to be able to make it. I told my parents I would go to their 4th of July festivities on the pond (a huge planned event that happens every year in their community) and I guess it is going on that day. If I hadn't told them last year that I would be there, I could probably get out of it.... Dammit. I will be there for the other one though (I hope).

Met with Erin (DarkChylde51), her friend James and Michelle today, it was real nice meeting you finally! I'm so glad you guys made it here, it was worth the wait this morning! (come on, HAD TO tease you about it.....lol)

The scenery was AWSOME, route 8 from Pittsfield towards North Adams and route 2 were just as beautiful as I remember, if not more. There was a call for rain and strong thunderstorm/winds/hail, but can you believe we haven't seen one drop of rain? Also, I'm so proud of Michelle, she was holding her own, she did great!

I loved James stoppies...and Erin, gosh girl, you gotta keep that nice ass of yours on your seat, or you might have someone crash their bike.... lolllll

Good times, will ride with you guys again anytime.

...so 5 years later i actually read this message...i know we went back and forth on myspace, but my bike is funkdified now and not working...something wrong with the shifter

As soon as it's up and running again, though, I DEFINTIELY would love to meet up again and do some more riding. I had so much fun hanging out with you and michelle.

(And I'm sure James loved doing the stoppies, as much as we all loved watching him...peacock )
