550 miles 4 states and 1 hell of a ride

We started at 8 am in Everett Ma took RT 2 all the way till the end where we crossed into NY. Followed RT 22 I believe until we hit fort ticonderoga and then lake champlain. Took the bridge over lake champlain up into some town in vermont where we then jumped onto RT 17.

RT 17 has some of the craziest turns I have seen around the northeast. After we rode the mountains on 17 we jumped on RT 100 to start our head back home. From RT 100 to 107 is a nice scenic drive with rivers and mountains the whole way. From 107 we hit 89 and then 91. We followed 91 until we hit the turn off for New Hampshire and hit some twisties up there until we finally made it back down to where we started again back in mass.

Overall awesome ride, awesome weather, and no cops in sight. I would say for a good 2-3 hours we did not see one stop light, stop sign or any other traffic control device. The farmland up there really makes some nice riding.

welcome to MY WORLD !

rt 17 is kick ass, and if you play it right ther are at least 10 other routes within an hour of that which are just as tempting...

You said 10???

I only know three playgrounds in the area (rt17, 125 and 73)...
mind you name the others?

I like 100 for a short bit there, the stretch by Texas Falls in the Granville state forest is nice, besides from the random tar snakes, but you have the same deal on 125, just gotta ride with your head on straight and no biggy.

How about Bethel Mt. Rd?

Actually, please list as much of the fun stuff as possible up there, I could spend all day in that area and have no problem with that.

We were just on Hurricane Mountain Rd out of North Conway on Saturday .............
If it was paved better it would be VERRRRRY dangerous !!!!!! It would blow rt17 off the map !!!!
I'm thinking it would be the best motorcycle road in the Northeast !!!!!
The whole way up and down the MT is 1st-2nd gear and hold on !!!!
