Why not join any of the other major rides that start anywhere else in MA? You'll have about a 1-1/2 hour commute before the actual ride, but hey, you wanted saddle time, right?

I'm going to be off all next weekend so hit me up on private message or in this post... I know a few nice roads that will take us out past tthe wachusett resevoir and all teh way to keene NH if you want to keep riding.. i usually turn around and head home the same route... about 100-120 miles total depending on where we leave from..

sucks that i mised the rice "mycircus" tryed to get goin this mornin, didnt think you guys got to gether that quik. but i deffinatly want to ride next weekend and will check this post latter on in the week to see who is in what day and what time. any suggestions post up with um

I'm off all day, I would like to ride early in the day so that it isn't too busy. or we could do it midday. if you are going we should meet up somewhere where we can gas up before we leave... nothing worse then being on a group ride and having to stop for gas 20 minutes into the ride..

Dont plan around me, but if it is an early day ride, i will likely join. I am planning to head to old orchard in Maine for the night and will head out sometime mid to late afternoon probably for that.

i was thinking about 8am...and riding for about an hour out and an hour back with a short smoke break at the halfway point...

8am, saturday morning, the morning after friday night??? lol. if that is the time everyone is in for, I am good with that, 9 might ensure i am slightly more awake, 10 would be lovely, but i can grin and bear it. a couple hours sounds good to me

how does 9:30 at the route 20 park and ride sound for everyone?? Who is in? I might have a couple others that would want to ride too. Ride a couple hours with a stop somewhere, back around 12 or 1ish? (not set in stone, just trying to form a plan)

ehh...I have work at 8, so I don't think I can make it unless you guys want to ride at 6am (which I think is better...fewer cars!)

BTW, do you guys have a route? I only know of a few isolated s-turns in residential areas.
