Okay… So I get home from the gym last night and wife has dinner on the table and has been acting friendly and nice. I asked her why the change in character and she goes into telling me how she feels like she wants to give us another chance. She told me that we should really try counseling and see if we can make it work. There is a slight part of me that thinks that this may be worth giving it a chance…. However my gut is telling me to not be wishy washy and stick with the decision we both made 2 months ago to separate. She told me that she loves me and that she didn’t realize what she is missing until now. What a freakin head game… I ended the conversation with telling her that I’m sticking with our decision and feel the best thing for both of us would be to move forward with the divorce…. She didn’t like that answer and now can’t live with me in the same house because it’s too hard for her to be living together. Here is where it gets exciting. Jess doesn’t want to have to leave the house because she did for a month earlier when we first decided to take a break. So even though she has 3-5 places she could live for free on the island… I’m now living out of my car and will be looking for a hotel to stay at for tonight through 8/18 which I’m pricing out to be around $1,500 for the 9 nights. Then that Friday I plan to head up to NH maybe to spend the weekend. Then Jess will be going to Aruba the week of 8/20 so I will be able to stay at the house then.
On another note we had a family that just made a very low offer on our house last night. We have it listed at $409K and they offered $365K… my counter was it’s priced to sell and $400K is as low as I will go… I’m now waiting to hear back from them, hopefully.
Well things are starting to get interesting…
