It's December and I'm still riding? what is up.

I don't care but I'll take it.

No sand on the roads nice 40 deg mornings and 50deg afternoons. What good deed have we performed to deserve this.
Don't answer if it is negative because I really don't

Christmas Shopping on the bike

Yep, I'll take it too.

I went Christmas shopping solo last Saturday on two wheels.

Then on Sunday, Kelly and I went out on the bike again to shop for a few more last minute items on our list.

First time I've ever Christmas shopped by motorcycle.

I have been commuting with my SV all along ... even in the rain.

I leave work and get home between 8pm to 9pm and get some
really strange looks ... hey, I don't care, I just got this big shit-eating grin on my face and enjoying the ride.

Looks like I will be breaking 19,000 miles this year!
(I was hoping for 17k!)

Chain is only starting to complain, just got a new one from kneedraggers a couple of days ago.

Waiting for snow and ice before I change out chain, sprockets and get the suspension rebuilt.

I hate you guys.

I put my bike's up in late September (Tucked away in a trailer with a bunch of other storage)

I have told myself numerous time that if I take it out it will snow the next day.

I guess I will keep it tucked away and let YOU guys enjoy the weather.

I rode my strom to work today, protection from the elements is much better than the nekid SV, haven't got my heated grips yet, but the handguards have been enuf for the mild temps

I hear ya, it could stil dump on us. Long as it's not one of those Ice storms that causes blackouts. that bad and no fun.

oh and hey, word of advice to those reading this. Never fall alseep watching 'Earths last days' on the history channel unless your planning on having dreams about running from lava and Nuclear fallouts. Made it nice to wake up to the sun this morning!

Like an engine oil change, one has to change the oil in the shock and forks in order to get optimum performance.

Me: Why the hell should I have to change oil in my shock and forks?

Peter Kates: Because oil molecules are in string form, as time goes by and these molecules go through the valves and get cut, they turn from strings to marbles. The oil loses its properties.

Me: (thinking) Duh! I change the oil in my engine for the same reason!

Going to Pete's sag and clickers class was NOT a waste of time!
I showed up 3 hours early and asked a ton of questions.

Servicing ... oil change.

I missed out on Pete's November sale cause of my dad passing away.

Most of my immediate savings went to help with funeral expenses.
They thought they were ready but were shocked to find out they weren't.
It was the least I could do for all the things he did for me.

It will be another month or two before I got my buffer back.
