Yea, I got out for a short jaunt yesterday also... Had a great ride except for my meeting with mr. "johnny law" in Ashby, Ma. Asshole pulled me over for no reason at all...

just got back from 100 miles of 2up, lakes region NH, gravel roads are pretty muddy, many town roads still have a lot of sand and the frost heaves on 132 between sanbornton & rt 127 are horrendous

I was riding my normal "avoid the traffic" routes

Yeah, Ashby cops can be great or not-so-great. They always seem to be fair though. They are mostly lookin our for drug dealers since it's a HEAVY transport town.

I didn't catch his name to be honest. I was just pissed that he pulled me over. Seriously, I wasn't speeding, swerving, or anything. I was just cruising up RT. 12 heading North, and he pulls in behind. After following me for about 2 miles, he puts on his lights and pulls me over.

When he walked up to the bike, he asked me "Is everything OK with your bike"? I told him everything was fine and I was just heading home, and then asked him why he stopped me. His response was that he just wanted to make sure that everything was Ok. He said, I've been following you and you seemed to be driving like you were having problems... I then asked him what he was talking about? I said, I was going exactly the speed limit and that I was staying just to the right of center. I never swerved or moved. I then asked him what made him think I was "having problems". His answer: You weren't swerving or moving away from the water on the road!!! Asshole!!! He ran my license and let me head back on my way...

You ever head to MotoMarket on Thursday evenings? It looks like we could get a nice little group together for a 119 trip there (non-spirited, just to get out during the week of course).

I would be definately be interested Thursday's for an evening cruise. MotoMarket is great gear place and customer service is number 1 there.

You must mean Ashburnham.. They don't have much to do up there.. Like Clayton said those towns are big Drug cut through for the folks in the NH border towns coming down here to Fitchburg and Leominster for a score..

I'm always up for a nice easy cruise on Thursday, I know some decent back roads on the way out there if you wanted a little excitement, never been on them with a bike, just know them from my days of Delivering out there..

I never made it there last year, but will definitely make it this year. I live right off 119, so it's a straight shot for me...

We'll have to make a trip or two there this summer...
