Northern VT ride Sunday April 22?

Weather dot com says that it's going to be partially cloudy and around 57 degrees.

Provided the rooads are in good condition, is anyone interested in getting out for a little ride?

Where would you guys like to meet up? I live just outside of burlington, so I was thinking that we could ride Rt. 17 (as long as the road is clear). How about meeting up in Bristol center? Near that little diner/restaurant, or right?Or near the park in the center?

What are the road conditions in Northern VT? Reason I ask is because my friend was coming home from montreal over the weekend and she got into a bad car accident due to a snow storm.

Since it snowed up in Northern VT over the weekend i'm guessing there's sand and salt all over the place.

Road conditions seem to be pretty good. Yes, it snowed, but it also rained for 24 hours straight, so I'm assuming that it cleaned most of the roads off. If Rt 17 is nasty, we can find something else to ride.

How long does everyone want to ride for? I know some people will be travelling a long way to get up here. (No one from VT other than me has posted up).

Seeing as Bristol is only about 15 minutes from my house, I'll ride down if the wife lets me.

Williston VT is 4 hour ride up and a 4 hour ride back from where I live. Then on top of that, the time for the actual group ride.

I got some stuff I need to do Sunday evening so I think i'll have to pass on this one.

I doubt the roads are going to be very good. I drove up from Mass Sunday and the southtern part of the state got wacked harder than we did up here.

Billy is right that is pretty far for us MA guys. Especially me since I am further south than he is. I think I'll have to pass on this one. OR if I do decide maybe I'll throw the bike in the truck and drive most of the way in that.

I rode up to Rt. 17 on degsy's big group ride and that was no fun slabbing it home for 4 hours after getting up at the crack of down just to get there.
