it just sucks that 95% of the races are on sat. i dont care about practice as im a quick learner. maybe if it was 50/50. i realize the place is closed on sundays but to open for a few hours to make some extra $$. beleive me i miss out on a lot because of my crappy schedule. rides, racing, trips, etc but it has advantages too. like this winter when most of you are at work on Monday, ill have Sunday river practically to myself

that was great fun and met some friendly folks. couldn't believe how physically demanding it was to ride the pit bike at that tight track.

definitely will try to be a regular up there.
duey (or to anyone else) you should have been there, it was a blast.

thank you.

If you wanna challenge Dave P, he's going to be on a 110cc motor this Saturday. Not that I think it'll slow him down any.

As far a Cycles 128, had a blast racing there, I'd love to see MoM retain it, and pick up a 106 Race Park round as well... dunno as the facility can handle the number of riders that'd show up though. I'd almost rather see the extra round be at Loudon. Use the parking lot to lay out a nice big track, and extend it out to include a small dirt section. There would be plenty of parking, similar drive times, might be a better fit?

D, I may go this Sat and try the newbie race, I'll call you. They told me it starts @ 5pm.

I don't think I'll be challenging anyone, but just want to get some more track time. learning the track and the bike.

The gate opens at 4, practice starts at 5, racing starts at 6. Craig is generally good about holding off racing if you're going to be a few mins late. That said we run well into 9pm usually. If you're still full of gumption at the end of the night with all the track time Craig gives, something's wrong with you.

Carlton

Glad you came to practice. Come race Sportsman class at least, Saturday, you'll have a blast. We always have new racers at each race so you won't be the only one.

Besides it will be just to funny to watch the guys out there on the 50cc Scooters racing and you'll get to see Pro's like Kurlon's lines.

Hope everyone comes we think there will be a great crowd to ride and watch. We had 20 people in the stands for practice last night.

Wait, if I'm a 'Pro' now doesn't that mean I should be getting paid to race?

Racing was good. Practice was in the dry, pace was rapidly going up. (I think some people forgot you can't win practice... ) For the first race, we started off with a rocking launch off the line, and things started getting 'interesting' 3 laps or so in when the one rain storm of the night rolled in. Everyone took a couple laps to re-adjust to wet riding mode, after that it was game on. The storm only lasted 15 minutes, with no further rain that night. Humidity kept the track from drying completely, but the race line was fine.

With a batch of new riders bringing their own style to the game, there were no blowouts or predictable races. Each race was a pure on dogfight with 3 to 5 bike 'trains' forming the lead pack, everyone on the guy in front's rear tire. Any line that could be run was as people tried to fight for position.

As a racer, it was awesome to have people behind me pushing me hoping I'd make a mistake to capitalize on, and people in front forcing me to push harder and harder to keep them from walking away and maybe find a way around them.

I'm told the spectators loved the show as well.

I'm trying to find out what levers fit the thumpstars, I need to replace mine too. I have something to be at in western mass so I don't know if I'll be able to make it back for this. What time is racing if I show up late?

Oxx, we both know street rides are boring. How much fun did we have getting in trouble on our private mini road course?
