I'll be heading to the BBQ/ride this Saturday & slabbing it. If anyone's interested we can meet up & ride out together.

Meeting place - The first rest area on the pike 9.5 miles west of rte 128.

Meeting time - 7:30am. LEAVING SHORTLY AFTER.

It takes an hour & 1/2 to get to Southwick from that rest stop & they're LEAVING at 9:30. I'm sure we'll need food & gas before we leave, plus some "meet & greet" action, so we're gonna need 1/2 an hour of bullshit time in there.

Pete, not sure if you have seen my post in the other thread, there is a nice italian pastry shop that serves breakfast, coffee, etc. at the plaza (meeting point), there is also a Mobil gast station and convenience store.

long rides aren't bad, rode up to laconia a week after i got my bike this May. Only had it about 2-2.5 months now

Was thinking the first group could meet up with the second group at the Charlton rest area on the pike...This way all the rt495 folks can head the proper direction. Any thoughts?

Dan, I could do the half ride with you. My wife is not up to get on my back for 9 hrs, but would like to join the party afterward.

we can do the charlton rest stop or rte 20 parkNride with kurt and chuck (other thread). since we are so close we should meet @ BK and then head out to the meeting spot.

How do you intend to split that ride in half? We're going into the Catskills Region in NY State, Once you're in the park, you have to keep going to get out on the other side of the lakes...LOL Then it's pretty straight forward to my house. I'm just saying, even if you want to split say, after lunch, you'll basically have to take the same route as us anyway. P.S. I can't allow anyone at my house before I get there with the rest of the group....my kids will be there with their sitter.
