its vacation and we should enjoy it, but really we should also make sure to pace ourselves, when you think of it we are doing a 4-5 days trip with 24hrs of driving and about 2 days (or ~300 miles) of track time.

Yup, no bodywork on the SS when she went to Seacoast. My guess is that if it takes a while for the weather to warm up enough for them to do some dyno runs I'll be heading to VIR with grey primer bodywork. No matter though...as long as she's running good all I'll be happy.

Yup....I'd say our spouses are saints (thankfully!)

just want to share the info here. I've emailed Aaron about bike prep.

Aaron, I'm preparing my bike for the upcoming Mar 24-25 dates @ VIR and I've couple of questions

According to *Bike Preparation Requirements: *
2. Liquid cooled bikes must run water only or racing approved coolant only, no anti-freeze.

question: can you tell so example of racing approved coolant?

Answer: Any brand that has "WERA and/or CCS Approved" clearly marked on the label. Generic "racing approved" is not acceptable. Engline Ice is a popular brand. I've used water with Water Wetter for over a decade and never had a problem with over heating.

5. Side stand must be secured in the up position using safety wire or zip
ties. We prefer that you remove it but it is not required. You are required
to have the stand secured in the up position before going onto the
racetrack. Center stands must be removed.

question: if the side stand is secured in up position, which means I should
bring mt rear stand, correct?

answer: Yes, bring your rear stand.
