Sunday (3/23)
: Depart at the crack of dawn for VIR!!! Hopefully arriving at VIR while the sun is still up. Dave, Charlton and myself are splitting a suite and I believe a garage as well. I'm assuming that the rest of the RVers will be staying in the RV?

Monday/Tuesday (3/24 3/25): VIR!!! VIR!!! VIR!!!

Wednesday (3/26): Arrive home. Matt...are you still planning on leaving Tuesday night?

Me and Wookie and Ritchie aka Dollar Bill Have a suite as well, And I had asked dave if we could Spit the garage cost. as well. I think we are riding in diffrent groups so it should not get too crowded, I have a total loss ignition on the race bike so I need to plug it in between sessions

Matt....second the question about leaving Tues night. If thats the case I need to notify VIR 72 hours ahead of time that we won't need the room for a 3rd night. I'm OK either way but my experience is that we are all mostly pretty tired after two days on the track! But then...I'm an old guy!!!

Absolutley on splitting the garage! (Last time I was there we were the only ones that had a garage...and they are all open...that is, there are probably 6 garages all adjoining and we spread out a bit without a problem.)

About the Trailer...

Quote:
NAMES OF PEOPLE GOING
in the RV
MATT
DAVE
KIM
DAN
KEV
RICHEY
I am renting a nice 24 footer from a friend for $250.00. The way I see it is that the 5 of us each kick in $50.00 and Matt gets his share for free! After all, its his Motorhome and it seems like the least we can offer.

Agreed???

I think that originally Matt was talking about leaving on Tuesday night so that we could be back Wednesday a.m. rather than later in the day. Either way (from what I understood anyway) we will be back sometime on Wednesday.

My preference is to leave Tuesday night, But my preference is not strong enough to want to force the group to leave before they are ready,
Either Way Would work, we have our suite for 2 Nights (sun-Mon) If worse comes to worse the Winnie is like a big suite on wheels.

Anytime after noon

I was thinking the same thing. I can set up either inside Italian (chicken parm) or out for BBQ (chicken and burgers) or both

If we are leaving before dawn will it be frowned upon if I sleep in the Winnie on the way, cause well, Ill be horribly grumpy if the sun aint up before I am.

Re: VIR Roll Call

On another note

Total Trip milage 1300 +/-
avg. $ gas/ gal $3.40
appx. avg. 8 - 9 mi/ gal
144 - 162 gallons / trip
appx $490 - $550 cost of gas for trip
If we each chip in $100 for RV gas

Re: VIR Roll Call

Hey everyone on the Trailer. Be sure to bring your own tie down straps and chocks. The trailer has two rows of hooks running the length of the trailer but Gilly isn't providing the straps.

What type of chocks do we need, and more importantly, do we actually NEED them?

Hahah you've obviously never met THE dollar bill yet. You dont WANT to meet me early in the morning, and I grew up sleeping in bars, trust me, a roller coaster is nothing. Just wanted to make sure it wasnt against the Winnie courtesy codes or anything.

Re: VIR Roll Call

There's really only a couple of Winnie courtesy rules

keep driver awake
keep driver fed
keep driver hydrated
keep driver entertained
try not to break driver's balls too much
