When I went to Assumption, I took 93 north to 495 south to 290, its about the same time as the pike with no tolls. Something to think about

I was thinkin Rt 9 might be more interesting than the Pike (cheaper too). We could also cruise around the many side roads and such. Highways are boring IMO.

Any ideas on where in Boston to meet up? I'm right near the entrance to Rt 9 in Brighton, just an idea.

Are you guys going to continue down RT9 all the way to the WPI? I'm planning to jump on RT9 from the Ashland/Framingham area. Maybe I can connect up with you guys?

I think the ride would be better on Rt 9 cuz then at least we could hit up some side roads or something like that, though Rt 9 has pretty bad pavement. I just think the Pike is boring and don't wanna pay tolls if I don't have to.

As for what store to meet in front of, I'm trying to get a view on Google Maps of what stores are near Rt 9 but the resolution isn't good enough. I could ride by there sometime this week and come up with something since it's about 10 mins from my apt.

You could meet in the front of the Mall which is Macy's, or Bloomingdales is on the right side of the mall if you're facing the front.

Ok, meeting at Macy's sounds fine to me. I know parts of 290 are rather twisty, might be worth a shot. We could also do some of the side roads like 20 or 30 for a little change. What time should we all plan on getting there?

495-290 take the exit just after you merge with 190 take a right of the ramp and then fork right in 1\8 mile. then strait threw 3 lights and its on your left.
