hey guys/girls,

trying to get a big group ride going -- any umass/local riders are welcome. feel free to RSVP in this discussion or just swing by...

we're aiming for meeting up around 1pm on saturday in the Northeast parking lot (the one between crabtree/leach/dwight behind the quad, not the crappy sandy one by Worcester DC). weather's supposed to be perfect (weather.com says 68* and mostly sunny).

we'll probably hang around until 1:15-1:30ish to wait for the stragglers and check out everyone's bikes, and then once everyone's arrived figure out who's gonna lead/the route/food breaks/etc

ah, UMass...I miss it. The first time I ever rode was at umass. damn I thought I was the shit (it wasn't my bike/it wasn't registered/it was an ex 250)

I used to live at 985 and 977 northpleasant...huge house/huge parties.

Do they still have the hobart hoedown in the spring?

I posted a thread about the show in the Rides and Events forum. I'll be there with my car and bike. 985 and 977, are those frat row? Frat row was knocked down, at least on the north side of the street. It's really quite sad.

The Hodown is a bit different now, lots of cops but they let the residents party, just not anybody else, or at least anyone trying to park there. I used to walk down to the Hodown when I was still in high school and always had a good time.
