Right on 44, about 1/8 mile shy of 395 coming from RI. There is a McDonalds about a block or two up that is right at 395. We're meeting for 10:00am.

Re: Any Connecticut Riders here?

While not from CT me and my friends ride into CT all the time for the nicer roads. We were out for a good 4-5 hours today and will probably be out tomorrow as well.

Re: Any Connecticut Riders here?

CBRGuru: I'm home, ended up with 243 miles. After we split (sorry about the confusion, I didn't realize how close we were to Rt 44), I double backed and
got off all main roads. A couple of good roads, til I came up on a huge dump truck full of fresh cut grass, had enough of that so I found myself on Rt 197 again and ended up on Rt169. Good day.

Meriden CT here. I usually ride on Saturdays and either head Northwest towards the Litchfield hills or Southwest towards the shoreline.

What do you ride?

Ever go to the Vanilla Bean (Putnam, CT)? There are no good roads near me, but decent
roads near the Bean. It looks like it would be a haul for you to get there though.

Next time you go out, PM me and we can try to plan something. (However, I'm not available this Saturday).
