My hello ladies ride...Aug 9 (Update 7/2)

We'll go with a date of Aug 9th with a rain date of go fuck yourself, learn to ride in the rain.

DETAILS

PACE: This will be a rather slow paced ride. My KLR does NOT like to go more than 60 or so. That means in lower speed limits you may see about 10 or so over but that's about it. I am a cop - I do not ride fast. This is for fun but don't plan on going too fast on this ride.

SQUIDS: stay the fuck home - I will not tolerate squidliness on a ride that I am putting together. Do not plan on a get outta jail free card if you are doing something stupid. In fact, I'll bring a summons or two along if you wanna be a jackass.

ROUTE: Not a clue yet. Prolly a few hundred miles.

TIME: Meeting at the Bobby's Girl Diner Once I work out a route I'll have a better idea of a time frame for meeting. Plan on pretty early though. Tentative time is 0800 but that's negotiable right now. Just a thought - let me get the route planned to figure out how long the ride will be.

This is a Saturday. If people live too far away and we get back late and you can't make it home - I may be able to let a couple of people stay at my house but that would have to be planned in advance.

Tentative Route

Re: My hello ladies ride...Aug 9

Sounds fun I'll bring at least one girl along on her own bike.

Bobby's Girls diner on Rt 104 off of 93 would be a good place to meet Nikon.

Hate to ask a personal question out in the open but are you single now and looking for a new biker babe ?

"I'm planning a girls ride"

few sentences later

"You can sleep at my house"

your ride should start and end at the track and include camping in the infield! It is a race weekend.

That's a perfect meeting place for me - it's about 10min from the house.

No - happily married with a beautiful daughter - the other thread was just for kicks and fuckin around.

I'm hoping the route that I take will warrant 60 as being pretty quick.

Think of this as a ride to meet people and hang for the day. If you want speed you can meet up and take off, maybe we can set a place to meet for lunch. There is a lot open right now.

Enough people would warrant a couple of groups (5-6 to a group) and we could seperate into speed groups/comfort level. I'm more than happy to make everyone that comes on a ride I put together feel comfortable. If that means that someone doesn't like the pace and wants to ride slower and everyone else wants to take off - we can meet at several stop points along the way and I'll hang back.

I got rid of the ZRX because I was dangerous on it. I was going too fast and feared losing my job or a limb due to the speeds I was going. I DO NOT have interest in seeing how fast we can get from one point to another. I want to hang out with people, enjoy the ride and have fun. If that doesn't suit anyone - don't come. If you are looking for breakneck speeds and being squidly - go on a different ride.

This will be an opportunity for newer people, new to the board or new to NESR to get to know each other and the veteran NESR people can get to know new people and maybe make some friends.

Make no mistake - the speed is not a joke. Not everyone wants to go...what was it Moto.....27 over the limit????? Some people here may be brandy new to riding and want to meet people. I know when I first started riding I was terrified of going on a group ride because I didn't want to get left behind. If you are comfortable going 10-15 over the limit, please don't hesitate to join in here. I wont get down on anyone for wanting to come out and meet people.

For those that like going faster. This may be a good ride to go 2-up and see some nice Northern NH scenery.
