Re: Sunday bean run

Beet, where are you located? I mean, where would you start off? Where is the "Bean"? Never been, and I'm thinking it would be about time I take the bike out and go check it out. I might be able to drag the man along...

Thanks Jane!

There seems to be 2 Vanilla Bean Cafe, almost right next to each other...

vanilla bean pomfret ct - Google Maps

Beet, you would start the ride elsewhere and go to the cafe? Or just meet there?

I'm probably out. Wasn't really thinking, I need to do a little bit of work to the bike, which I coulda done in the AM, but I also have 2 people coming over to load bikes for the Mon/Tues TTD. Let me know what time you plan on being there, maybe I can work my schedule around it so I can meet up for lunch.

Sounds good Beet, I just need to figure out a good route to get there by the backroads instead of I-91 and 84...would like to ride. Meeting beforehand to get to the bean sound like a better idea, I want to ride...let me know where, what time, etc.

I'm still amazed that people bitch about the prices there. Fresh cooked food, good environment and kinda a cool place to hang out..and one could eat and have a drink for $12
Gesh, it cost $10 to eat complete garbage at burgerking or mcdonalds

Beet, I was very close to taking a ride to the Bean last weekend..it was just to friggen hot to be on a bike

Re: Sunday bean run

Is V and I the only ones coming from out this way? Be cool to get 2 groups, one from the east other from the west and meet for lunch. Then hit up some local roads near pomfret for a few turns b4 headin home. I'm in if anyone wants to go.

Re: Sunday bean run

I've been telling a few of the work guys they suck. So I made the date & I had ta do it. They all showed & we had a great ride - heat. We did 66-6-169. Some spots sucked but all in all good ride. I love motorcycling.
