We will meet here at the shell station jct rt 2 and 202 saturday july 19th




Top off your gas tank when you pull in
show up early if you want to eat or get a coffee

be ready to roll out at 8am

the forcast is for high of 89 with isolated afternoon thunder storms.

if we leave by 8am we can get in a few hundred mile and be home before the heat and showers.

medium pace ( ie no tripple digits) roughly 20 - 25 over, pass when safe to do so.


For those that can;t make this date or time or don;t like the pace, maybe the next time will work better for you.

I may be enticed to wake up early on my saturday morning! Most of my riding buddies work saturday morning and I hate going out by myself after a deer hit me on my last solo trip!

Head west on rt 2 south on 91 east on rt 20 to 290 to 190 then back on rt 2
should be awesome.

I agree with that statement. That is a lot of highway and therefore, a lot of straight line riding. Not my cup of tea!

I don't know if you're unfamiliar with routes around here, but from that gas station there are much more scenic routes with many more twisties. Depending on how far you want to go I could possibly come up with an idea for a nice loop!

Post up your loop suggestion. I'm open for them. I just want to ride with a group. My bro (who was the person I rode with) moved to NC, and my buddy's all work crazy hours, so i rarely get in on a group ride. I'm always solo riding and it gets old.

Of course the route I suggested is as sarcastic as it can be, sadly the joke was lost to the interweb.

I have a twistie route in mind that goes to southern vt, down into western ma and back, roughly 200 miles round trip from the meet spot.
but I do not like posting it on the web.


MY start time stands , if I ride alone at 8am so be it the rest can form a second group for later in the day.

forcast is to be in the 90 ies and I rather not ride in the heat of the day as it just isn't enjoyable I would rather get going earlier but suggested 8 am as a compromise.
