Not arguing here.

Moe's Southwestern Grill (Yummy!)
Leonardo's Pizza
Chicken Charlies (Not just chicken but burgers and steaks and salds oh my!)
or for those snobby types.
STARBUCKS!
All in one nice location!

OOOHH! vix gets the burn! nice one! now.... one more thing to mention, being a guy who likes a deal... for those interested in staying close to moes... they still offer military discount. i think its 25% off, when not in uniform. gotta love a good "gut bomb" every now and then...

I go where the people go...

Unless we want 20 different bike nights throughout Chittenden county...

Then I stay home.

A swing vote is only necessary when there's a tie. I think in this case the majority voted in favor of Chicken Charlie's.

The parking at Marco's isn't as good. That parking lot is a pain to get out of. And if we go there we have only one food option instead of four.

As for a trial run at Manhattan Pizza the week after the one at Chicken Charlie's... we did say that, but personally I'd just as soon ditch it. Essex is too out of the way, and a pain in the ass to get to during rush hour. If most of our regulars lived/worked in Essex then it wouldn't be an issue, but they don't.

Just my opinion...

I don't know how many attendees are coming from where, but I'd like to point out that from anywhere south of Richmond, Manhattan Pizza or a similar Essex location could be as easy (if not substantially easier) than CC's during rush hour...hop on 116 from the Richmond exit and you're riding opposing the rush hour traffic, not in it. Coming from the south to Williston Rd, you're dealing with either 89 through Burlington during rush hour (yuck, double yuck for grooved pavement) or Williston Rd. during rush hour (double yuck if you're wearing gear and stuck in traffic).

Oh, and BTW, the 'u' usually comes before the 'e' in Tuesday.

yeah, +1. IF it moved to essex, im not sure i'd feel like going even FURTHER north, to turn around and head south, BACK through burlington and/or williston.

Re: VT Bike Night, Tuesdays 6-9pm

Fixed the spelling.

I think bike night needs to be closer to Burlington (the Largest city in the state)

Not out in the middle of no where with no traffic for posing and limited food selection

Hence why we started at Donny's and not in friggin Milton or Colchester or Shelburne or Vergennes....

WE WILL SEE HOW IT GOES.

I'm good for chicken chuck's.

but....

I will be working next week so I won't be able to be there on a bike.

I can however stop in when i'm on duty and pick up some dinner.

Way too much drama and bickering going on around here....

Those are the things that make people want to stay away from bike night...

Where do you see this? I don't see it?

The internet does not represent people well. Don't take it so seriously.

UMM.. Last week when we were done we dicussed trying out a few locations due to the fact that by the time we all made it to the ones we were checking out it was way past our normal arrival time.
I for one don't want to be someones hood ornament in a bad intersection no matter what the location is like.We must all keep in mind we have many levels of riders. As far a distance we have had a people from waterbury, stowe...

+1 Let's just keep the plan and see how things go. Till we try it out there isn't a lot of point to worrying too much about everything. We'll all figure it out.
