Yup, its gonna be a tuesday ride again. Starting out around B-town, meeting places will be figured out depending on who is going.
Again, Stunters and squids are out. We had one long haired dude last time and he was ok, so I will allow one long haired person to come again (send applications to my PM). Sorry, only 1 bike per person. Pace will probably be a tad less spirited than last time, especially on 9N. I'm going to bring my point and shoot nikon to snap some pics.
I do want to spend less time mulling around when we are heading out so that we have more loitering time on the ride
I want to start out in B-town in the morning around 0830. Meet up and cross the bridge, then hit T and EP road. Up to the naked turtle for lunch and then catch the ferry back to VT (it was nice the last time we did it). Should put us back into B-town area around 1500-1600 ish. Remember, the Ferry cost about $6 per bike.
Last time around it was just under 200 miles round trip (From my driveway back around). Should give us a little time to relax and shower before Bike Night.
I know Motofreak and his friend are in. BB-675-VT is in and me gives us four.
Focker out!![]()
bastard...i would be in for this but i have a department meeting at 1800 HRS >:0
and why pray tell do you have to do to the dept meeting? do you think something is actually going to get accomplished?
Wish I could join you guys, but I've got a full day of work on Tuesday (and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday), at which I'll have plenty to get accomplished.
I could have such a great time if I were independently wealthy.

B-town, im like what the heck is B-town, Boston!? anyways, I get it now.
Hi, I am Stefan, I have lurked on NESR for years, and last year I moved from Boston to Montreal, and Tuesday I purchased a 2001 Ducati St4, and rode it up here.
I would love to go with you on this ride as well, but like others, I have to work my job weekdays, so thats out for me THIS time. I'll keep lurking and see if I cant ride south of da border to ride with you BURLINGTON guys.. and I'm not a squid, and don't have long hair, either.. so

last time we just spent 20 mins talking and waiting at each pick up point, then we were under I-87 overpass for like 35 minutes waiting for the rain to stop (which started just as we got to the mouth of T road). Then about 1.5 hours for lunch at the turtle after riding around lost on bad directions for 20 minutes (i'll bring my GPS this time).
Its only about 55 miles to the mouth of EP road from burlington.
When I said I wanted more loiter time, I mean I want to do a lap or two of both roads, get some good picks if we can keep people in line, etc...
By keeping it less spirited, I'm hoping to ward off some bad karma that seems to have worked its way near some people lately.
to those of you that have to work during the day... my advice is get another job so you can come ride with us.
I'm interested, gotta see if I need to be at work or not, though. Which bridge and do you have a time guesstimate at the bridge?
I enjoy posting up in a corner and digitally capturing the excitement. Actually, when you come through, I'll probably already be hiding in the trees killboy style.
I promise not to steal any more lunches. My sugar was low, I was all alone, and Wilford Brimley was yelling at me.
well if it was next month (far less busy for me) and seeing as in I have 24.5 days of accrued paid time off....I'd almost say I'm in, meet you guys near the bridge or if I were to go north then over 17, hinesburg is cake from there.
geez then I could loiter and go to bike night then buzz home after
yea so do this kinda ride again next month on a nice tuesday and I'll join ya***
***disclaimer; no long hair and not really a squid![]()
I have every Tuesday off and would love to join in on this ride. There is another great road (okay technically its two) a short distance north from the two previously mentioned that i frequent when i ride out to ny. it connects to route 9 so it would be worth hitting up, altho im sure some of you already know of it.

I have every other tuesday night off with my new schedule so its probably doable. I do have to spend a couple weeks in RI at the Roger Williams institute in Early July but Aug looks really promising for rides.
Looks like a good group is starting to form. First muster at 0815, Shell station by VSP barracks in williston for the burlington folk. No later than 0830 take off for Hinseburg. Hinesburg mobil station (motofreak will have to help me out on this one) right in hinesburg by 0845. Popping smoke from hinesburg by 0900 and off on the trip. If there are any southerners, let me know and we can pick another Rally point close to the bridge.
muster, barracks, 0900, pop smoke....youre getting me all worked up here. i see your evil plan...well played sir, well played.
