Friday June 27 to Sunday June 29.

Leaving from here, going up to Montreal, enjoying a few good things in the city, classy strip joints (so popular with Americans...LOL), Hard rock cafe, Ste-Catherine Street or whatever...the old part of the city is great too. Ships, IMAX, etc...

Then, head to our sweet cottage (chalet)....in the middle of the mountains, Mont-Tremblant village. YES, the roads are PAVED. LOTS of twisties. Lakes. This is a paradise to anyone who loves to mountain ski in winter (you are surrounded by many mountains, all with mountain skiing), and a paradise in summer too. This place doesn't have anything from your daily normal living. No post office there, no lawyers offices....this place is all about fun fun fun and pleasure....condos, cabins, chalets (cottages) etc...all snuggled in the middle of about 7 mountains. The night life there is awsome. Pubs, Bistros, restos, sport clothing stores, souvenirs shops, aquatic village, rentals of canoes etc...my parents used to live there, and I always had a blast when I was visiting. If we go a few people, the cabin will be CHEAP, given everyone will pay his part. I put a linky linky to the site. If we're more people than expected, check this site, you can get your own bedroom if you want or a condo.

There is an INTERNATIONAL contest in Montreal for fireworks. I'm sure that Saturday will have awsome fireworks!
I know, it is called "4th of July". But for some people, they don't have anything specific to do on that weekend.

It's not in the "wilds" of Quebec. It's 30 minutes from Montreal, in a touristic area, very active in winter and in summer because of the many skiing mountains in winter and many activities and partyiing during summer! I'm not gonna cry because you're not coming ya know? LOL!!!

We're gonna have a great time!

I looking right now to rent a private cabin (residence) instead, on a lake with a few bedrooms etc....swiss style, very comfortable and niiiiice!

We're gonna hit the twisties! God knows there's plenty there....yeah!

Actually I have gone riding north of the frontier the past coupla 4ths but I can't plan that far ahead and the roads on the horth side of the St Lawrence river are not as boring as the straight arrow roads in the eastern townships area.

Ok. I found a LOT better for lodging us....that is conditionnal that we get at least 10 people to go. Check out this site: http://www.northvillas.com (if you click on one of the small pictures of each houses, it will open another window where you can view a lot more pictures and bigger)

There is 2 houses and one condo to rent for a weekend. One house has a indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool bathub, entertainment center, DVD, satellite TV, a few fireplaces around the house, etc. etc.

THe other one as an outdoor inground pool, a few fireplaces, again entertainment center , Play Station, satellite TV, etc etc...

CHeck it out guys! This would be a crazy weekend! Imagines a gang going up there and partying like crazy mofos! Geez...

Now, please consider that we CAN'T rent this house without commitment from you guys who want to join the trip! We just CANNOT afford to rent one of these houses and get stuck with no one coming and a bill of $800....I'm sure you understand. Also, these houses rent freakin FAST, the season already started to fill up slowly...so think hard, look at you calendar and finances. This trip will be CHEAP if we get enough people coming.

Look at the site, it tells you more about area activities (rafting, canoe, water park, night life etc.).

Also, I notice that the Grand prix Formula 1 of Montreal will be open but damn, all the races are on sundays!

Ok, so now it's up to you guys AND girls!

I don't even have a bike yet, but I' shoud have one by mid April. I would definitley be interested in this outing! Uhmmm... evn though I don't know ANY of you

The date has been changed to Friday June 27 to Sunday the 29. There is at least 10 people coming as of now...more to expect. There is limited places, because we don't want to pack the house with 30 people (need to sleep all that people!). Unless you don't mind sleeping in the living room in front of the fireplace on a flatable mattress?

OK guys. The chalet is already rented, we used Stephane credit card for the deposit. The date is Friday June 27 to Sunday June 29. There will be a payment of $38 for a single person or $75 for a couple. Everything is furnished in the chalet. The only thing we'll need is to go to the grocery at a walking distance to buy some food for the breakfasts, and also some BOOZE....the chalet have an inground pool and it is also on the lake!

For now, I'm only renting one chalet, accomodating 8 people MAX. We are 4 people already and I already received the payment from the others. There is room for 4 more persons.

If we happen to have more people interested in coming, we may rent the other chalet located right beside the one I'm renting, for about $175 US.,for 2 nights, that can accomodate 6 persons (that is $ 28.70/single person for 2 nights stay, given we fill the second chalet with 6 people)

IF you're in, please send me a private message for details for the payment to be made. I'll give you my postal address. Your reservation is confirmed only when I receive your payment.

Now, for the road trip. We're gonna take 91 North all the way to Canada, then route 10 to Montreal. We know all the good spots to stop, eat, and have a rest. We will leave on Friday morning at about 7:30AM. Another option is for you guys coming from further away to arrive at my house on Thursday night, and crash here, so we are all ready to leave togueter in the morning! Anyhow, we have to leave early to take the ride at a nice pace and get to Montreal early afternoon to enjoy the rest of the day.

For our home return, we were thinking of going by NY state, with the 87 route.
