Is there a place during the summer that more people hang out than not? What I am saying is, because I live so far away, I would enjoy taking a trip East if there is a certain place where the majority of this group hangs out. Motorcycle night?

Bike night at Heritage Ice Cream in Lowell - Tuesday nights in the summer.

Considering you live in an area with much better roads than most of us I would certainly be happy to ride out that way at some point.

How are the roads out there. Yesterday I rode all afternoon basically until 9 at night but I just putted around in the Boston area cause I wasn't sure about heading out west or north with low light. (Due to the sand)

The roads are getting pretty good here though as long as you stay on numbered routes or "main" roads".

the roads are still crap right now. Anticipation of more snow, and just plain historics tell me that the sweepers won't be out until at least another 2 weeks. If you take it easy it's not too bad, but the potholes are killer this year. My friend popped two tires (car) yesterday in Pittsfield from a nasty pothole.

Anytime people want to ride out here, you're all more then welcome to give me a shout. Like I mentioned before, I have a huge yard, and totally willing to fire up the grille for some burgs or dogs.

Border NY? CT? VT? or NH? If it's CT, Springfield is an easy stint to do. One of my favorite rides following the CT river into Holyoke from North Hampton. Not sure of the Rt., but great ride. On Sundays they have a huge flea market that's fun to walk around...

if you live in western mass, you should hook up with the ODFU crowd down in CT.

What part of CT are they in? is there a website? Thanks!

meeting a friend for lunch and he wants me to take my bike so he can see it ... it's just too damn cold out .. i want to ride damn it!

I think I'm just going to visit different "bike nights" when I can. From what I've read, other boards are doing the same thing. Seems like there are pockets or riders in almost every part of the state, for me, I'll probably go to the bike night at the Heritage in Lowell, simply because it's close (depending on the crowd too).

But I would also like to pop in on different bike nights in different places.

I hope that at least once or twice this summer we can get everyone on the same page and have like a massive bike rally in Worcester or something!
