Some of my quad riding friends and i will be racing at the Washington County fair in Richmond Rhode Island Thursday evening. The parts guy at my local dealer has been bugging me for a while now and we firmed up the plans today. The show is from 7pm to 10pm and is listed as the Rhody Rovers Motorcycle Rodeo.
Should be pretty fun as there will be several 5-6 lap sessions with quads, differant classes of dirtbikes, and kids on little dirtbikes. We were asked to put on a show in front of a few thousand people so i'm sure there will be quad wars
The people i've been riding with with quads are pretty sick, i'm almost a little afraid

Hope some of youz can make it.. I'd ride your bike if you go, front row parking with a security guard and you can get in and out of the place MUCH faster.

1 week to go I picked up the tickets and info from the dealer today, lookin like a pretty fun time..

Directins...
rt 138 east exit off i95 (exit 3? ) to rt 112, bear to the right at the Y onto 112. Follow the traffic from there, you can't miss it. I'd suggest getting there early if you plan to go, we'll be there from 4pm on, setting up the track and practicing the jumps

The friggn terrorists (tourists) annoy the shit outta me. Have fun and be safe.....But most importantly....don't block Kenyon Hill trail while waiting in traffic!

Just got back from this fine and fun event. What a killer time we had, i'm completely exhausted There was a delay in the building of the track which didn't alow us any practice time before the crowds gathered I was shitting my pants (thats just an expression) as they were building the big jump in the middle, it "looked" huge, prolly 8' high and 15-20' of air. My first lap i went around it, then hit it on the second. What a fucken rush.. the thing was cake
We got 3 sessions of about 8 laps each and 1 free for all type race at the end of the night. Awsome time AND we were invited back for next year
Not to mention they paid us 100 bux each to ride our quads
