Anyone up for ride this evening? (Salem MA area)Hello & welcome to my 1st post...been lurking for a while & find NESR to be a pretty useful/interesting resource. Rode up from Providence last night, visiting back home in Salem. I'm planning on going for a spin later today, sometime after 4-5PM. Kind of a last minute idea but thought I'd post anyhow. I'm a 1st yr rider (4k mi, no accidents), like to have fun but ride within my limits. Have ridden with at least 1 other person from this board on a recent NH SV ride through some great twisties (http://www.svrider.com/phpbb/viewtop...26845&start=75) & would like to think he'd endorse me as a safe person to ride with, if not a bit of a slowpoke  Counting down the final hours of the work week...   |

WelcomeHi there- Pearldog from the SV site..Tiger1 said you guys had a great ride a couple of weeks ago..sorry I missed it. I can't make a spin with you today but take a look on Sunday either here or the SV East board..2 rides are headed out. Later |

Re: WelcomeHey Perldog...we did have an awesome ride when we made that trip. I don't think I will be able to swing the Sunday rides but we'll see. It is a really good time out that way, unreal roads. Just watch for frost heaves, animals and general crap laying in the road. (That and the cop who get in your lane while you are in the middle of a sharp turn to pursue a pack of Harleys...that was a bit hairy!) |
