If the Mountain Washington auto road was open, would you ride that too?

You are a not a "die-hard" but rather a "never die" rider Randy!

Have a safe ride.

Keep us posted on the road conditions - I don't have dual sport tires but I may be interested.. if the road is decently clear.

I'm going to check out the best route to conway this weekend

more than likely I will find that 16 is best, traffic heading north will be nill on a sunday morning, I experienced a lot of ice last weekend, but we had 10" snow on friday

Definitely keep us updated.

If it is just cold but I have a good chance of getting up there without having to ride through lots of snow I will try and make it.

I was going to ride my mountain bike and just meet you at the top and say hi or something but I hurt my knee last month and I don't think I'm ready to bike that road right now.

Roads are 100% clean & dry here today, I will be getting out for a ride today.

update forecast!!!!! sunny with temps in 40's

it's going to be a good one

I plan on starting from McDonald's at Alton Circle 10:00AM (intersection Rts 11 & 28 in Alton, NH

proceed north on 28 to Ossipee, then 16 north to Conway, should be there just before noon, then across the Kanc to Lincoln, lunch in Lincoln, don't know where yet, then slab it back down to tilton on 93 then 140 back home.

I would take more back roads but frost heaves are awful this year

for you, a long cold one. the total ride I outlines is a little over 100 miles/ 3-4 hours including stops but you have 4 hours just to get here then another 4 to get back home, I would be hesitant, you would have to ride a little during dark hours too
