You'd better hurry because I'm moving that Z to a different town next week. Also, tread lightly since it's alarmed with a pager I keep by my pillow, right next to the shotgun.

Ah good, Eugene's would be much easier to get to. A total breeze in comparison. Have at it!

.....I love to see people's face after I tell them I like to put just a tiny lil'bit of arsenic in my recipes...it adds so much flavor!

By the way, for your info, when you make pasta or rice salad, it is better to prepare them at least one day in advance, so the flavor "work in". A pasta salad made last minute and eat right away is NO GOOD.

So, not to interrupt this important conversation but...

Who's riding in from Providence? I'd probably meet up with the pack along Rt.7 if I know what time.

I have the route mapped out but it's a nightmare to print so I'm not going to bother spreading it around. You need photo editting software with good printing features to scale and pan the image around. Too much like work for such a simple route.

I put a map in my scanner last weekend and was able to make copies of a map, worked pretty good mapping the route with a yellow marker/crayon. When your done, just toss it away

Is anyone up for an early morning pre-ride around the Northern Berkshires on Saturday? Unfortunately because of my work load I could not take Friday off and I oh so badly need hit some of the roads at speeds the group will likely not achieve. The pace will be slow and by slow I mean really fast.

Early = leave at 6:00 a.m. (before the tree huggers start driving around slowly)

If anyone will be around the Berkshires (Central to Northern) and would like to join me, let me know and we can figure out where to meet. Once we are done, we can ride to the McD's off of 291 and meet up with the Official group.

Since the map is a pain to print, I printed it to 6 PDF files. All you need is Adobe Acrobat and a color printer to make use of them. If you want to d/l the route from Providence to Springfield, all backroads, click HERE

PS. ZX-12, I wish I was from up your way. I'd be there, especially since the ZX-12 is going to be my next bike and it would be great to ride with one.

Again, directions to the meeting point for the RIDE and also for those only coming to the BBQ/party, to my HOUSE:

Meeting point for the RIDE: McDonalds, 660 Liberty Street, Springfield MA 01104 (leaving at 10:00 a.m., call cell phone if you're gonna be late)

McDonalds, exit 3 off route 291. If you're coming either way from 91 North or South, or from the Masspike, take the exit for route 291 Springfield (exit no. 8 from 91, exit no. 6 from Masspike), then take exit no. 3 for Armory Street. If you come from the east, right at the end of the ramp you'll have to go automatically to your right, keep going straight about 100 feet and you will see the McDonalds it is right there on your left side.

If you come from the west on 291, you still take exit no. 3 for Armory Street, at the end of the ramp there is a light, you'll have to stick to your left entering the rotary, and it will bring you automatically to cross the overpass going over 291. (Follow little signs for McDee, Liberty Street, etc.)Then keep going straight ahead and about 100 feet away you'll see McDonalds on your left side.

Call cell phone if you're having problems 413-244-0155 or my house *edited*

Directions to my HOUSE: (Not before 5:30p.m.)

*edited*

I *heart* things that blow-up (Pete, dont even start about inflatable dolls). When I lived in Tenn i used to get myself into so much trouble with fireworks. I think that they alone are the most compelling reason to move to NH from MA.

BLAM-O!

Welcome to the People's Republic of Massachusetts. All fireworks are illegal due to a knee-jerk reaction to the laws of natural selection. Even the perilous sparkler is outlawed in our fine state.
