It was definitely a fun time. Once we were in the mountains, the temperature dropped to much more reasonable levels. Anyway, on with the pictures. They lost some quality when I resized and compressed them so if anyone wants the full size files (much sharper, no artifacts, much larger), PM me and I can send them to you.

Our starting point in the Mickey D's parking lot:

Our first stop along Rt. 8. Three in the shade...

and the rest in the blaring sun!

Luch at Applebees:

Several pictures from the top of Mt. Greylock:

The one on the right is legal!

And here is the Cummington General Store. a.k.a The Creamery:

That's all I have. Someone else will have to fill in with pictures of the BBQ.

Boy, you guys have some "nice" weather for the ride today. I'm happy I was in an air conditioned van with my FIRST FREAKIN BIKE EV@RR in the back.

Its too nasty out, I'm gonna go shower-less and hit springfield smelling like a wet dog, MissTwisties has a pool anyways

LMAO How do you know she is legal on the right?

And it looks like the old man on the right in this picture is thrilled the sportbikers came in to disturb his viewing of the mountain!

To everyone at yesterdays ride and BBQ, it was awesome to meet, ride, and eat with you! Of course, thanks a whole bunch to MT and Stephan for putting it all together. Your buddy Aaron with the GoldWing is a real cool cat.

To Joe, Bill, Eugene, Andy, Ed, Aaron, and you other bros who I never got the names of, thanks for the great time. You guys all were great to ride with and talk to. Beth, Brian, and Jeff, it was great to meet you at the BBQ too. I hope I didn't forget anyone.

A big thanks to MT, that MadMan on the sweeeeet Duc, and ZX-12R Bill for leading us through those UNBELIEVEABLE roads! I can't remember the last time I had that much fun for free.

The pictures below are reduced but if you want the full sized one's go HERE . You an also email me at zx-9@comcast.net

WHEN'S THE NEXT RIDE????!!!

Oh wow! Ensoll, great pics!

To everyone, we had a great time with you all, you are a great bunch! I'm so happy that this got to be a good turn out!! I'm glad to see that you had fun! I didn't get to relax and sit down and talk with many of you, I was so busy being all over the place taking care of stuff, I wish I could have, I'm sorry and I hope I didn't make anyone feel left out. Gee, I didn't even get the chance to taste the chicken and te kielbasa! LOL

I took pictures and you can view them here --> http://photobucket.com/albums/v665/m...25-05/?start=0

I wish it was not so foggy (the humidity) on top of Mount Greylock, it would have made for some clearer pictures. Also, the BBQ shots are bad, it was dark and the camera couldn't see anything!

Well, you don't know what it meant to me to get to ride and have fun with all of you yesterday. Hope to do it again sometimes!!
Thanks again for joining the ride and making us the honor of coming to our place!

So....who's next to host another great day??

MT, when I click on the link to your pictures, I get a page with your username entered and it's asking for a password.

Do we need to register to see the pictures or something??

Cool pics - glad you all had a great time! One of these days I'll make a ride if you don't mind a newbie tagging along..

Hey MT, that wouldn't be a skydive off the mountain, it would be a base jump - and you really made me want to do one with that pic!!!

Someone fill in the blanks for me. And j/k about the Wayne Newton, it was just the first thing that popped into my head when I saw that guy, you have to admit, the similarities are striking.

Stephans graphite colored Kawasaki was beautiful.

Hey guys, someone forgot their green cooler in my basement...It's surely one of the guys who drove in car to the BBQ with food? there is also 2 icepacks in it.

And please, I'd LOVE to have the recipe for that creme de mint pie (puppet's wife) and the little chocolate/oatmeal squares! (Knobby's wife)

Thank you everyone for a great time riding. That was the largest
group of people I've ever ridden with, and I don't see how it could
have been any better. Thanks to the ride leaders for finding those
nice roads. I hope to get to ride with any of you folks again sometime.
I was really great! Anybody wants some company on a ride, drop me a line,
so I can re-enforce those names in my memory as well.
Thanks Veronic, and Stephan for the excellent BBQ, and ride plan.
Unfortunaly for me, I arrived late to the BBQ, but enjoyed it while I was
there. If my place was 'company' friendly MT, I would be glad to host the
next one, but it needs a lot of work. Someday I hope.

If you look through some previous posts (in one of the other forums), you should find the answer you are looking for...

...."Since potato salad and saddlebags don't play well together, I'd rather just stuff a few bucks in your pocket so it's all set when the ride is over and there's no need to go push a shopping cart around Bob Barker's research lab. "

Yeah, Knob, I'd love to do the same thing over my way, especially since I'm fairly central to lots of people in MA ,CT, and RI, but I live in a condo. There's lots of old folks and I can already envision the problems, complaints, condo association phone calls, etc.

It's too bad there's no community center there because there is plenty of room for it. It used to be a golf course. There's a huge grassy knoll, but no place good to park all the bikes.

There's even some great dirt trails out in the back where they were supposed to build more condos but never did.

HA! So I'm guessing it was YOU!!?? And you wrote "thanks" on the bill...LOL Well thank you very much, it was appreciated.

There was at least 6 people who never showed up, we ended up with a full pan of chicken legs leftover and ham/macaroni salad...we'll have to trow good food out in the trash because we just can't eat chicken for 3-4 nights in a row...(I don't eat chicken that has been tawed for more than 2-3 days)

Well Ensol, I guess maybe "company" friendly wasn't the correct term. I've got plenty of room, and
no problems with neighbors. As a matter of fact, I've got plenty of room, and a good bit of off road
riding behind my place as well.
I don't have a grill..or a patio..or a deck...or a gazeebo, or a pool. Just a yard with almost no trees,
and a crappy lawn(and in most places, there is no lawn) Just not very asthetic, and messy.
That's what I get for being an old single guy.
