Sun 6/19If you follow Formula USA, you'll know many of the names. If you watch LRRS, you'll know even more names. The racing will be very good this weekend. Not the AMA, but the best of the rest, for sure. |

Sun 6/19I'm racing on Saturday and I'll be watching the big boys race on Sunday. We have our usual garage for the weekend, so I'm told. Come by and say hello. We're in the Center garage #4. Look for the blue MZ #375 EX |

Sun 6/19Can I revive this thread? Anybody wanna go for a ride on Sunday? Weather looks like the mid 60s and cloudy, sounds like decent conditions for a ride - certainly better than last sunday! |

Sun 6/19Sorry to hear that Pete, hope he's ok. I got to MM about 11:30 (compressor battery was dead and I was about 6psi shy in each tire). Bought myself a decaf cappachino, biscotti and a nice tire pressure gauge. Waited until noon and then did a little roll on 1st gear front tire loft on the way out. Went on rollercoaster road, then to 111, then 122, then 13, then 124, then 101 then stopped in Keene. Headed back and made some Hardley's feel like they were staying still. |

Sun 6/19no body else was there? bummer Grandpa's doin alright, he's just really weak... guess he wasn't able to hold himself up w/ his walker last night & fell a couple times... Ruthie (my dad's step-mom) wasn't able to pick him up so they got a neighbor to help, then called an ambulance to take him to the hospital just to make sure all is ok & run some tests. He's been goin downhill for a while now & it looks like he's gettin closer to the end of the road, but he's puttin up a good fight at 88 years of age. We'll see how it goes, hopfully he'll be out w/in a few days once he regains some of his strength, possibly in a nursing home. If things get worse I'll let you guys know & then you can start sending good wishes anyway, back on topic ![]() |

Sun 6/19Hey Clayton- Sorry to have missed you. I got a really late start (I went for bike ride to loosen my legs from yesterday). I probably rolled in just after you left...got myself a double shot latte and hung out with my map....left around 1:20 and headed out 119 all the way to Fitzwilliam, NH..turned south on 32 (crappy road)..and rode 202, 9,32,62,110,117...home...around 210 miles...now drinking a fine Wachusett Country Ale. OG...sorry to hear about your grandfather. Lyle |

Sun 6/19119 sucks riding all the way out there, I did it twice, and hope to never do it again. Try 123 next time, its kind of hard to find, but well worth it rather than slabbing on 119 to vermont. Pete- Sorry to hear about the Grandpops, hope he recovers as best he can. I'm off to Vermont tomorrow for about 350 miles. |

Sun 6/19I got there at about 11:15 (first time at MM, surprised I found it from Boston without any problems). There were a bunch of other sportbikers there, including one with a beautiful 998. I didn't see any of the bikes in the sigs of the people who posted in this thread (specifically TheIglu's), so I waited around for 10 minutes before I left - I figured I had gotten there too late. Apparently only a couple minutes more and I would have met up with ya. Oh well. I ended up crusin a ways east down 119, a decent road it seemed, but also tons of cars to force a slower pace. The highlight of the trip was that I ended up behind a pack of about 10 guys from the Boston Stranglers from http://www.bostonstranglers.com/ These guys were all on vintage (like, pre-1970) scooters - Vespas, Piaggios etc. It was crazy to see these guys crusin down route 2 in the right lane at just shy of 50 mph. Anyway, I'll wait around MM more next time before I take off |
