Route 100 is over rated. Trust me when I tell ya that there are MANY much sweeter roads off of route 100. Route 100 is usually pretty traffic strewn, especially during the week of the 4th I'd imagine...

traffic shouldn't be bad waay north, last year on the 4th, I went on a long ride in northern NH, ME & Que. once I got north of Conway, traffic was non existent, if you get that far north, Rt 145 from Colebrook to Pittsburg is SWEET, fresh pavement last year, watch out for moose

I agree RandyO. We'll have to head north of the Whites to get away from the bulk of the tourons. I have been over 145 in a Cage, I agree it would be a sweet run on a scooter. What about 13 Mile woods, ya think that stretch'll be too crowded? Maybe not bad early on the way up. Another good thang is it'll be cooler up there if its hot down here.

Okay. As of now, I hafta shoot down to Auburn, NH first thing Tuesday morning. First thing on vacation for me would be to leave here at 8:00, which'll put me in Auburn (just outside of Manchester) by 8:45. I don't hafta hang around there long, just pop in and say 'hi' and skeedaddle...
