10/1-10/2 Last race weekend of the season .. Small/quiet party

The last race weekend is less than 2 weeks away so start planning I'll be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I'm only racing on Saturday. Bryan mentioned a small party to kick off the end of the season in the Pit Area so check it and come on up
We were thinking Saturday night would be best and we can call for a bunch of Pizzas?
You can camp at the track so bring a tent or something, showers and power is also rite there in case you need a heater for your tent at night.
Quiet time at the track is 10pm, doesn't mean we have to pack it up go to sleep, just gotta keep the noise down and
So come on up and show some support for the NESR member racers and kick back for a few beers or something after

does it cost anything to get into the pit area? Keira and i live in concord so could probably come by and meet some more of you and hang out. Having to work weekends means it would not be a sleep over experience but i have never actually been to the track and would like to meet some more of you and hang out.

Its $20 for a wrist band that is an all weekend pass.
I think its only $10 if you show up on Sunday, but you may need to have some discount vouchers or something.
Saturday is usually more fun and more people around though.

im with R7 on this. its the last race weekend and even though ALOT of people have come up to support the racers and stay and have fun, ALOT of you havent come up and youre missing out. all the procrastinating of "ill be there next time" is up. This is "next time" the NESR clan of racers has dramatically grown over the course of the season and its like a small village over near the Low Down tent. lots of good times and great stories (some are even true) lots of laughs and a little debauchery
Summer is over and there isnt much riding season left so saddle up and come on up to the track and share in the fun with some..........

You guys all set up just inside and up past the tunnel, right? What tents should I be looking for? I'm actually planning a 3 day trip thru MA, VT, ME and NH and trying to end up at the races.

Lyle, look for two big long white canopies & a few pop-ups all right next to eachother on the left just after you crest the hill after the tunnel. there's also a big white trailer, an OOLLLD mobile home thingie & a couple smaller trailers. That's them/us.

Yep, it's the end of the year and the end of my Loudon racing career . Come out and say helloo. I'll try to get out to your part of the paddock Sat. night but the wife and kid may be there for the weekend. Either way, i'll be trooling the pits on the mighty Gixxer-fiddy all weekend .
Cheers, Lee S.

Thanks Pete..I've got it timed to be there around noon. So far the trip is 879 miles...trying to hit almost every twisty road in MA, VT, ME and NH.

Notice I said my Loudon career . Movin' to central Florida in November so next year it'll be the CCS Florida regional series (hopefully) They run at Jennings, Moroso, and Homestead and i'll be right in the middle of all 3 . What sucks is i'm gonna have to unload the EX (right now I actually have 4 people who want it )and try to find a cheap SV. Gonna miss riding Loudon, though. Fun track and great people.
Cheers, Lee S.

I'm pretty sure you'll need permission from the track to have the band there just to give you a heads up?
Last time if i remember rite that didn't go over very well

I've learned to not ask permission in life anymore.
Way too many times the answer has been NO!

One of them being me

Any idea on the seriousness of the offers? I don't want to step out of my place in line, but I've found that people often are more interested in buying a bike when it's an "idea" then when it becomes "reality".

If I found the right EX at the right price, I would like to head up with my truck to the last race weekend, pay in cash following the last race of the season and take it back with me. This seems like the best situation for everyone involved. Current PTwins racers on the board take note!
