I love living in NH! XV and I went on our ride to the kank today...just got home, did a tour of he lakes region and missed the kangamangus by, like, 40 miles. Anyway, we had a blast - got some pics to show ya!!!

As usual, we started out with coffee...

By the time we hit Alton, the sun had come out and the foliage was a bit more pronounced

although the irony of sandwiches in sandwich was not lost on us, the route was. We somehow got turned around, but it made for an interesting route. In fact, we even had time to play some reindeer games....

Then, we found another lak that had this nice corner with a pulloff at the bottom. So, here it is everyone. Proof that we do in fact ride our bikes, not just tote them around and take pictures of them. They are not the roaming gnomes of NESR!

I dont have a photobucket accoutn yet, and other than that, I have no idea how to....so if someone would like to share that would be great. But it is so much fun to give the story, like a picture book.

Where the hell was that?? I am still sulking that I didn't go with you guys today. We will have to plan a route that is midway with all of us in the future. Looks like you guys had an awesome ride on a perfect day.

Were you able to read the directions I sent you? That General Store was on the map. You were very close to your goal...2 little fun roads and you would have made it...looks like you had a blast anyway.

We modified a little due to a late start but found the store perfectly fine. It was the 113 that gave us problems. We turned left instead of right and landed on rte 3 in Ashland (sorry for not finding you Gonzo). From there we decided to hit up some roads that XV knew from an old job, and then hopped on 3A to3 back down through Concord. There was much map-studying going on but it turned out to be a pretty fun day! May reride some of them tomorrow with Rob....

I'm fighting a difficult battle of right and wrong in my mind. Stay at my job of 20+ years and be responsible, or throw it all away, cash in my 401K, collect my pension and go on every last damn group ride I can find until my cash runs out!

At this point I'm favoring the Group ride gig!

If you cash out, you can buy an extra bike for the track, and do those days too

Exactly... nowadays they need a masters anyways. No one cares where you got your undergrad, send em to a cheap school & they'll be able to pay for their own gradschool eventually
