Question

charity ride

I got stopped by a local m/c cop on the way to work today... not because I was doing anything wrong, just because he digs Triumphs (who doesn't right?)

anyway, he gave me a flyer for the charity run. it says it's the 11th annual, so maybe some of you have done it, etc. it supports Ronald McDonald house, so that's a good cause. starts from the train station on 128 near Westwood / Canton at 11:00 and goes to Maynard..

apparently they close rt 128, and there is thousands of bikes...

anyone in?

hahaha!

who's a crack head? me

anyway, it's July 28th. and the flyer says it really starts at Boston Harley Davidson in Everett... but I didn't think anyone would seriously do that... maybe (that meet up leaves Everett at 9:30.... takes 'em an hour & a half to get to Westwood )

Yup, we have done that before, in the ball bark of like 5 to 6000 bikes do the ride. They shut down 95 and rt 9 we were doing 90+ last year and were gitting passed by staties on bikes to get ahead to close off the next on ramp. it was kewl, it loops around the Mc Donald house and back rt 9 to maynard they have a band and lunch is included. It is kewl to do if youi have never done it before, The draw back is sitting in bike traffic to get out on the road, then in traffic to get into the lunch area.
I can't make it this year, have other plans that weekend already.

Yep, I allready told the Deg's man I was going to help at the track that weekend and dammit that is what ima goin' to do.

The ride is a fucking blast if you have never done it, then again it is a blast if you have done it before. Think of it, leave the University ave. exit to get on 95 then all the way to the Rt. 9 exit is all yours. And yes you can punch it out! And then Rt. 9 is all yours for a while too. I think it was about 20 bucks a bike and it all goes to a great cause. Cops? They seem to overlook quite a bit this ride. If ya go have a fucking blast.
