Annual Hurricane Party (AUG 19TH)

For anyone bringing a mini to ride around the woods o cross track tomorrow.
At minimum you will want MX boots and a helmet, the rest is up to you ( knee, elbow, gloves, chest) . yeh other thanboots and a helmet , ride naked for all I care, it will make for good pics. The trails are single track through the woods and are set up for 50's and 70's, but you could probably do it on a 100 or a mini bike. There are trees and rocks and such so boots are probably a good idea. I haven't clocked the track recently since i changed it around but I think one lap is in the 1/2 mile range.

Incase I don't get to say it tomorrow. There are NO JUMPS on the track, trust me if you get airborne off the hills you will be in a world of hurt as there are NO LANDINGS. Slow down and roll the hills, I found out the hard way that a bike with a 3'' of suspention travel doesn't do well when landing from 3 feet off the ground. The hills were here when we bought the house and I shaped the track around them. Maybe some day I'll get some dirt delivered and put in some landings but for now, jusrool them.

After a blackout involving Jager, I cant even stand the smell of the stuff anymore.

I think the growler of ECB sounds like a fine idea Clayton, thats on my list of stuff to do tomorrow now!

I'm not picking up the girlthing now, shes coming on her own, so whats a reasonable time to show up?

I'm bringing my helmet and gloves, and hopefully someone will let me try their toy. Cleaning the car out now, throwing my shit in it, heading up to Keene to see if I cant find me some growlers of ECB, then maybe a few other little errands, should be there by 3!?

Rob,

Are you riding your bike?

I think i'm going to be taking my truck. I did almost 650 miles on the bike yesterday and I need to give my ass a break.

If you wanted, you could throw your tent in our truck. We're in Rindge and will be heading out shortly...

When were you thinking about leaving?

Ok,

Do you have the address? If not, I'll PM it to you. I don't want to post Seans address on a public forum...

Annual Hurricane Party (AUG 19TH)

A Huge thank you to Sean and Leah for hosting this party! The Hurricane Party was perfectly named for last nights weather! How did you know???

I had a fucking blast! Great food and a great group of friends! You guys are a blast to hang out and get drunk with. Those other losers/ missed out on a great time! We were all up till about 4:30 and didn't even realize it!

The Highlight for me was Riding the mini bikes while stone cold hammered in the middle of the night on the oval track around the corn field while trying to follow the track without a light!!! The only light for the first two times was Marks miners light. Thanks to Harpo for letting me borrow his miners light! Makes a huge diffence when you can see where your riding and where your crashing! My clothes were distroyed covered in mud! But it was fun as hell!

I am still recovering and not sure if I will attempt to ride my new dirt bike. I really want to but I am sore, hungover and tired.

I dont think I've been so bumped and bruised up like this in a long time.

Had a good time, will see whats on my camera for pictures and post some up.

Yeah, and then when I left, I thought it might be a good idea to try and drive to Salem, NH to the Apple store there to replace my iPod.......I think I made it almost to rt. 2 on 495, and I was so tired I could hardly keep my head off my chest. Found the nearest gas station, slammed a red bull, and shot down rt. 2 before I started passing out from exhaustion again.

Annual Hurricane Party (AUG 19TH)

the blind midnight mini motocross was the shit.

I think i am the only one that didn't go down at all which i am still amazed at but i made up for that today when i discovered why super swampers aren;t the best rain tires. I was taking an onramp and it felt like i was driving on ice. I slid into a cement barrier and bent my upper control arm in half, ripped the lower control arm mount off the axle, and bent my front shock on the Jeep. , Thank AAA Plus for giving up to 100 miles of free towing. I used 96.7 of them from wocester to Concord

That's it, I quit drinking
I'm just now starting to feel somewhat normal again, wow what a night
Huge thanks to Sean and Leah for having us over and all the food

I got a good sized brooze on my side, musta been from when I highsided in the field

I gotta go unload and clean the bikes and gear...though they did get washed some from the downpour I followed almost the whole way home, that was some crazy weather

Sean and Leah,

Thank you very much for the food and having us over!!!

Sounds like I left early and missed most of the amusement, but I was kind of wiped out... (Guess I'm just an old bastad...)

Anyway, it was good to meet some new people and see the few folks that I have met before...
