I'm officially announcing....

The 2nd Annual CASA DE OREOGABORIO/Red Bull USGP PARTY!!!

If you didn't come last year, we all met up at my place by Symphony Hall, did some pre-gaming, then headed over to GameOn! over on Lansdown for the Red Bull viewing party... Afterwards it was back to my place for pizza & more brews. It was a DAMN good time & I'd like to do it again.

Suggestions are more than welcome but basically i'm thinkin bout doin pretty much the same as last year if you guys are up for it. Maybe we'll terrorize Boston Billiards or Jillians while we're at it & make em ask us if we're a swinger's club again

If I get enough people to come and kick in a few bucks I'll take orders & get a shit load of "alternative beverages" (beer, liquor, whatever... there's a place right around the corner from me) and food (Pizza, Wings, subs, whatever the fuck you guys want)

Parking isn't so bad around my place while school is out, but carpooling would still be a good idea. If you ride your bike in, you can park your bike right in my driveway or fenced-in backyard.

I'm also right off the Green line (Symphony) and Orange line (Mass Ave)

Afterwards people are welcome back to my appartment for more "alternative beverages" or we can go out & raise hell in the city.

I'll just do the ride in from Alewife on the T, or hell, even ride in maybe, not that I'm a huge fan of riding city streets where I have no fooking clue where I'm going. No booze for me if I come on the bike.

What time does this thing start/end? I'll have to be up for 430-5am for work, as usual monday.

Id be willing to toss in a few bucks if thats the route you want to go. Im going to have to figure out what the last train to Qunicy Adams is. Ill just park in the garage and ride the T in. I guess if worse comes to worse and you have some floor space I dont work until 3:30 monday.

People are welcome to show up anytime after noon to hang out, pregame, darts, beer pong, PS2 or whatever (if someone wants to bring an Xbox, that's cool) etc...

We'll go over to GameON! for the "official" Red Bull viewing party whenever people wanna go over... the big race is at 5 but there's a couple races before then starting at 2 I think.

Then back to my place by 6 or 7, or off to terrorize the city... People are more than welcome to crash for the night at my place... I've got a couple futons, chairs, extra blankets & floorspace.



My place isn't that tough to get to, but if you're not familiar w/ the city, you'd be better off taking the T or riding in w/ someone who knows where they're going. Traffic is enough to deal with when you know where you're going, nevermind when you don't have a clue.

That is an absolute, definite maybe. For me and reiobard. Dunno how we'll get there, either ride the bikes in or T it from way outside the city, and we will let you know more definite as the weekend comes closer. Sounds fun!

Oh, BTW, what is said Red Bull event? I assume it is a promotion at the bar, and how much $$ does one usually go through (not counting drinks). And, do you have floor space/couches to crash on when one get too wasted to ride home?

the Red Bull thing is pretty much just a viewing party, no cover charge, just like goin into any other sportsbar.
