Ice cream ride

A few of us will be getting together on Thursday 7/13 around 6:30-7:00pm at the D&D on RT 44 in Raynham. We plan on riding pretty local (44, 28, 104, 106) then getting ice cream at Friendlys at the Middleboro Rotaty after the ride if anyone is interested. Everyone is welcome if you can make it!

Yes, Dunkin Donuts.... The one across from the Friendly's, next to Papa Gino's.

That would be cool MZ...I know I'm trying to get up there to bike night, but w/my work schedule and everything else going on it's tough! One of these nights I'm just going to have to bang into work and come up!

OK, the weather is looking really crappy right now! But, they are saying it's suppposed to clear up this afternoon. I have some errands to run and will be back around 5pm. I'll post up then if we are still having this ride. Right now it's still on. Sorry about the short notice!

Same here... about time a ride started so close to me

Edit: about a 20% chance of rain this evening... like every humid day, so I would hope it holds off...

I'll be swinging by at 6:30 if it's dry, but only hanging out for 30 minutes or so.

I have a tire change to do at 7:30

OK....OFFICIALLY this ride is called off, but....there might be a few of us hanging at Dunkin Donuts anyway. I just don't want to take a chance of someone wiping out on wet roads. So if you still want to meet up there great! We will postpone the "ride" till next week. So next Thursday, same time we will try again... Would it be easier for everyone to meet at the Middleboro Rotary Friendly's instead? Let me know and we can change the meet point if necessary.

Nice to meet those who did show up. At least I got a nice ride out & back from Blackstone. Rt 44 to East Providence is a nice ride, but a little straight.

A big thanks to Degsy and Bladerider! It was nice to finally meet you guys!

The ride WILL BE ON NEXT WEEK! Pending weather again.. We will be changing the start of the ride to the Friendly's at the Middleboro Rotary on Rt 28/ RT 18/ Rt 44 to make it easier for everyone. I hope thats not to far for you Degsy.. I hope to see a bunch of NESR's there!

Just a note, this is not a squidly type ride. Due to some novice riders we might have, we will only be running around posted speed limits +5 or so. Nice easy ride till we're all comfortable. It's just for fun and to get out of the house, and meet new people.

We hope to see you all there!

If we could make this on a Saturday or Sunday I could come along as well. Working 2nd shift sucks for weekday rides.
