Montreal!

I am planning on riding up to Montreal the second weekend in August. The 11/12/13, going to ride some good roads, most of it will be on Route 100.

Who interested in going?

If you are be aware that you now need a valid passport or birth certificate and valid drivers lisence to get into Canada and come home.

One way trip is approx 300 miles.

PM me if you are interested, I should have the route complete by the end of this week and plans finalized!

Heard that it was needed, going to check with Immigartion, cause I am not going to be the one arguing with border patrol.

Check it and updated the first post.

Have a good trip.

Just in case you've never been - the roads from the border up to Montreal are flat and boring, and you dont want to get a ticket up there. If you go a little bit north and west of Montreal, you will be in the Laurentian Mtns, near Mt. Tremblant race track - lots of good twisties through the mountains.

Also, keep your bike somewhere safe - they have some unbelieveablly crafty theives up there.

Mount Tremblant is a great place to rent a cottage, a condo or a room in one of their resorts. It's only 45 minutes from Montreal downtown. If you go at the bottom of the mountain where the resort is, you will have a great time...cute people, good food, etc.

Cops will usually tolerate that up to 120 KM/H on highways, just like here. Anything over that speed, you're asking for trouble.

You don't need a passport yet. If you have one great, but you can still show a birth certificate (original only) and a valid drivers license.

If you need infos on renting a cottage for cheap (by the lake), or a condo, let me know, I have links and phone numbers.

The add says that there is gonna be a bikini contest (and I'm sure you won't see any ugly chic there....trust me), wet t-shirt contest, view the shooting on giant screen, interactive games to be played with the girls, have your picture taken with the Maxim girls, win prizes all night.

yes, it's right at the Mount Tremblant Ski Resort. Have you ever been to Newport RI? The buildings (restaurants, hotels, clubs, etc.) are similar in architecture as downtown Newport on Thames Street, except that instead of being on the Ocean, it's at the bottom of the mountain, with a big lake. It's really pretty....really vacation like...but with the "party all night" feel with a younger crowd.

I have been to Mt. Tremblant. It is cool, like a little town ant the base of the mountain with all sorts of Bars and eateries, from fine dining to "Denny's".

I stayed at Le Grand Lodge though, that was cool too.
