not sure abour kanc ride this year
I'm not sure about riding te kanc on stupid bowl sunday this year, I rode up there today, very dirty, even some ice in corners, many places I had to slow down to actual posted speed, maybe more snow will encourage the highway crews to use more salt and more ski traffic will clean roads up.

not happening
my Kanc Ride will not be happening this year, I have been preparing myself for it, even arranged for a warm up stop in Tilton, weather looks like snow south but not north...

I got word today that my mother who has cancer has taken a turn for the worse, My parents are flying from Arizona to Vermont this Friday and I will be visiting them this weekend

Thanks to everyone for the good wishs.

I visited my parents this weekend, my mother is doing much better than I expected, I will prolly be going to visit every other weekend, alternating with my sister that lives in Springfield, MA my brother lives close by them in Hinesburg, VT and my nephew's are rugged young men in their 20's and can take care of snow shoveling.

My mother was surprised I didn't show up on my bike. the forcast is to be -25F tonite in northern Vt.
