Re: Greater Boston area - April 12th

You guys might want to watch the weather, as of right now they are saying rain for sat. But since we live in New England, the forecast will change 20 times from now till Sat. I'm taking the car down.

Alex,

I'm going to be there between 11am-12pm. I'll call you before I leave my condo.

If there isn't snow in the forecast, I'm riding.

Is this the plan? If so, is there a general time?

Re: Greater Boston area - April 12th

so it's on me to pick the time?

uhhh... that mobil in roxbury/boston. meet there at 11:15, leaving at 11:30.

then i'm guessing 10-15 minutes down to DBConz's meeting place. chill for another 10 minutes.

then another 20 minutes or so to tha Ale House to pick up Gino. maybe be there around 12 or 12:15.

People meeting me at the Mobil in Roxbury cool with 11:15?

I wanna get to bettencourts around lunch time for the free food. If it sucks i'm heading over to KFC for some honey bbq wings bitch.

if it's raining, fugghettabout it.

Re: Greater Boston area - April 12th

Hi everyone,

It sounds like the weather is going to be kinda crappy this Saturday but we'll still be here cooking food and selling stuff cheap. We'll have burgers and brats and hot dogs and sodas so it should be ok food-wise (and it's free!) Then again, Chili-Head is REALLY good! As an incentive to NESR members, we'll offer a 20% discount on any one non-sale priced accessory in stock. That would include helmets, tires, exhausts, etc. Print this out or just say Dave said to do it, I'm the parts manager.

Don't forget that Tony is giving away a Track Day.

Hope to see you all Saturday,

Dave S.

By the way, we do have cute girls working here!

I'm ok with 11:15. If it rains, I'll probably go with a friend that has a car, but I'd rather take my bike!

There are a couple of cute girls working in finance, you have to buy a bike to see them, though!

Jim,

We've got a bunch of Motorex chain cleaner in stock, I'll stick one behind the counter just in case. I'd guess the track day will be drawn around 5.

Re: Greater Boston area - April 12th

Dave is well let’s just say you can't miss him. Great guy, great service. He is really gentle.

If you need service go see the service manager Tim Ribbe. He used to be my local Rockland All Performance Cycles (APC) shop guy. Wealth of knowledge.

Dave, You probably know me as the one with the HAWK GT race bike. Yea that PITA...

Saw you out on one of the TTD last year. Hope you and your partner in crime had fun!

Re: Greater Boston area - April 12th

Thanks for the kind words, I like to think we're a pretty good shop to deal with. I'm hoping to do at least a few track days this year, just don't tell anyone that I ride a KTM. Oops!

Re: Greater Boston area - April 12th

I'm canceling on the meeting and this trip...gotta go check out a bike.

A track bike takes precedence over everything at this point in time.

Sorry. Maybe next time.

PS- Tell all the cute girls at Bettencourt's I'll be through some other time...
