Re: Greater Boston area - April 12th

Thanks to everybody who stopped by Saturday, it turned out to be an awesome day weather-wise and we sold a bunch of stuff, too! It was nice to meet a few of you, it was so busy in the parts department I'm sorry I couldn't get out and mingle more. Sorry we ran out of burgers, the line was so long at times I think we'll have to buy another grill before the next open house.

A big thanks to Tony and his crew, hope you guys had fun and sold some track days. Thanks again to everyone, mark May 17th on your calendar when we're going to do it again.

Dave @ Bettencourt's

Re: Greater Boston area - April 12th

Great to meet Alicia, Kevin, Jim , and Joel at the Ale House. I took a nap on the 929 waiting for them. After about an hour I started to put the leathers on and up they come rolling. There was almost a collision. Jim saw me and pointed to turn left into the paring lot. Alicia was looking at me and not at Jim slowing down and turning left. When she looked forward it was OH SHOOT. Breaking pretty heavily and trying to get the right of Jim. She missed him by about 1'. Nice save. It would have been ugly otherwise.

Great to be at Bettencourt’s and meeting others that flew in and out. I missed lunch the group of us left at 4:30ish and I split to head up 95 to The Shrine Auditorium on Pete’s suggestion. Why you ask? http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...ay-4-12-a.html I caught the tail end of the rain at the MASS pike. I pulled into the rest stop there after and threw on the rains and zipped up to (PETE exit 39). Great night. First live Roller Derby. Boston Derby Dames

Talk about an oh shit moment! She thought you were just waving at another rider, didnt even see the blinker then next thing you know she locked up the rear and started to slide. I was relieved when she kept it up and pulled into the parking lot.

she was a little shaken, but who wouldn't be, that was def. a close one.

What a great day....nice to see some old friendly faces and meet some new ones.

Who knew that hanging out at a bike shop for nearly 6 hours talking and shopping could be so exhausting.

I took advantage of the discounts and picked myself up a nice suit....even if I did have to undress the mannequin to get them!

Jaynnus,

We're you the lady Pete was talking to about riding around with your kids on the back with your thong hanging out?
