Im getting out of work around 430-5 today. Was wondering what the best roads are to ride w/in like 1h of somerville?? if any...

south border rd and woodland rd
fellsway west ma - Google Maps

within 10-15 minutes, rediculously short, and congested anywhere near rush hour.

gotta head north or west about an hour-45 minutes for better roads. I like north into NH. not sure of the exact roads. i usually just look for something on google maps and go exploring till i get tired. haven't ventured into NH yet this season because of the weather and road conditions. Moto Market in Acton is probably only 15-20 minutes away and I was shown some fun roads out that way, but again, they are very short.

Rt 93 North to NH....then get off anywhere north of Manchester!!!

Yeah, it sucks when you finish around 4-5 pm. Traffic is pretty bad to all directions at that time. Anyway, there's always bunch of cars in city all the time. But I do have a little route that I'd go ride sometimes after work. Fellsway-S.Border rd.- some rd. in Stoneham- Fellsway.

That place rocks at rush hour !

Be carefull on border road. You'll get either a leo in one of the hiking turn offs or some soccer mom pulling out on that road.
