So who else is around at 2am?

I usually go for a quick blast through some select backroads around the Nashua/ Hudson/ Litchfield area.

Once in a while I'll get out to Hampton Be-atch.....seems early morning is about the only time one can truly enjoy NH's only beatch.

Just wanted to see who was awake enough to join up and roll.

I'm game for a 2AM ride some morning It's probably the only time you can ride Rt. 1A north to Portsmouth without any cages getting in your way... not that they slowed loridin and I down the other day

I had a deer jump out about 5:30 the other morning, be carefull. They are moving around at dawn.

Route 1 from Hampton Beach north is great about 2am. Same with the Wilton area. I've done them both at those times.

As tempting as this idea sounds, being a small pack of bikes out at 2am is just begging for police attention. The only reason you're out there in a pack is for a nice spirited ride, and the cops will know that.

i hit a deer with my R6, it wasnt cool. 50mph around a right hander, came out of the swamp on my left and we semi-T boned. Never laid the bike down, just went into the woods for a bit and back up to the road. Blew every single one of the plastics off the bike, as well as mirrors. If any of you hunters out there get a 10pt buck with a headlight in his side... you know where it should be returned!

And I thought I was the only sicko using the bike as a cure for insomnia. I'd be down for a ride pretty much any warmish night & I live in Hudson. Cold nights scare me not only b/c of the hypothermia factor, but cold, dewy, slippery backroads are no good. Let's get it goin...

Whaddya mean?

As long as everyone's behaving and all the bikes appear legal I don't forsee an issue. The po-nines can follow the group all they want right up to the town line and after that they can screw...

It's not like we're a bunch of Harley dudes leaving some bar riding around wasted out of our tits....ya know?

As a group, we'll implement certain saftey precautions with regards to night riding....hell, we can start right now with suggestions:

-A minimum distance of 3 bikes or more on any given backroad regardless of speed. A tight group is only to be run on the main roads or "Main Street" type roads.

I'd be more worried about the drunks in cars at 2am than anything else. But fuck it, once I get my ass to the DMV I'll go for a 2am ride. I like to wake people up with my obnoxiously loud pipes

+1 I'll be down in a couple weeks when the better weather is around. I don't like riding in 30 degree freeze your balls off cold. But if this has a nice goup to ride with I'm down. (Keep this thread going if it actually happens, or please send PM)

I hope it happens, sometimes on those hot summer days I take the cage & wait till late night to even break the bike out. Sweatin sack gets old in a hurry, and the RC is warm to ride...

I plotted a nice little backroads route in the Lowell, MA/ Pelham, NH/ Hudson, NH area. Should be able to be run in about 1-2 hrs total.
