Re: Cyclewise Open House and Ride, 5/10

our plans changed, my guys are coming from 60 miles away and going to be here at 0930, at the jolly north on rt 7 in south burlington. from their i'll probably cross them over to 116 and then down.

mark, don't wait for us b/c we probably won't be there, but we will meet you there. btw, my neck is feeling a lot better. it was nothing serious, just a minor strain. did a quick ride last night and the helmet felt fine.

Re: Cyclewise Open House and Ride, 5/10

It was a great time. If you didn't go, you should have gone. We were there from 1030 to approximately 1300. Probably a 100 or so bikes came through in the time that we were there. saw a little of everything.

my bike dyno'd at 108.23 rwhp. Thats with the SET valve disabled, Akra slip-on and PCIII.

I also talked RJ into doing a custom tune for my bike. It was the white gixxer that was so loud it made everyone's head turn when he did a pull. kinda made me smile seeing that.

That was yours? I love that color scheme (the black/grey/white, right?). The sound definitely made heads turn! Gorgeous bike, I'm jealous.

I was there for a while today, Cyclewise put on a great event, lots of fun, the dynos were awesome! Really cool to see the different bikes, too.

Re: Cyclewise Open House and Ride, 5/10

It was good to see such a turn out for a early year event (never know what the weather is gonna be)
Seeing everyone going up and getting dynoed. I was a lil dissapointed it was only HP, no torque or fuel curve. But it gave me a baseline and..... now more mods .
I felt bad for my buddy who dumped $3500.00 into his GSXR 1000 and had it puke coolant on the dyno. But they were kewl and did two more pulls after we fixed the issue.
Hey free food, a nice day on the bikes, the sound of bikes hittin the rev limit.. who could ask for more

There was a guy who rode a Harley?? Kinda like bringing a knife to a gun fight

that was your buddy that blew his coolant? I felt real bad for him to see it gushing all over the ground. it was even better that they helped him fix it. it was a real friendly environment. all of their techs were walking around and were more than happy to answer questions, everyone had a smile on their face.

they def earned my business. too bad they are so far away from the burlington area.

that gives me a good excuse to ride 17 though.
