Re: Anyone up for T***** Road this afternoon???

so we're talking about H********** road now?
who's in? I've not been over there this year, yet. last time I was over there lets just say it's a BAD idea to try and stay with the locals on that road. damned if it was a good 10-15 feet before the bike and I landed after cresting a hill.

T********* road is real. I figured out where it was without having ever been on it.

Re: Anyone up for T***** Road this afternoon???

that was a slick vid.

can't believe I've been by T******* but never on it.

If you guys head over and don't mind another (possibly 2) tagging along, I'm in, possibly a friend. Hopefully it's nice this weekend.

Re: Anyone up for T***** Road this afternoon???

I can't go this weekend even though I want to so bad after seeing that vid. I actually drove E***** P***** road last week coming back from DC. Tom Tom told us it was the shortest way. I made everyone sick in the minivan that i was driving because I was having so much fun.

5/30/08, a couple of co-workers and I are going on a ride. I'm gonna persuade them to head over there.

Yea we don't claim to be perfect

but at least the routing software doesn't tell you to bang a left through the guardrail off the bridge and onto the street below. Sad thing is there's probably people dumb enough to do it.

Honestly when the county of Los Angeles comes to you, says here's X millions of dollars, make LA nice...backwoods VT and NH aren't going to get attention. So in some areas the data will be less than desireable.

Re: Anyone up for T***** Road this afternoon???

Mark,

it looked mostly sand free. Looked a little patchy in spots around the shoulder and some on the yellow lines.

I was taking mental note because I knew I was going to have to find it and ride it.

I rode over to check that out Sunday before last, but it was completely covered with sand so I turned around and left it for another time. I'll try again in a month or so.
