Based on those pics, that track is MUCH faster than 106 Race Park, and I wouldn't mind a bit more HP there even on the 151... so I'm fairly confident saying the lil 7hp Thumpy 120 isn't too much bike for the VT track. : )

I have done absolutely nothing to it. (Other than crash it )

Well I oiled the chain and tightened some fastners and lubed the cables...

Should I do something to it?

Cool. The remaining schedule looks like...

Sunday Sept 7 (Which I can't do)
Sunday Sept 21
Sunday Oct 5

I might be able to talk him into letting us do a Saturday on the Sept 20th or October 4th.

Especially if I can confirm 5-10 of us. Spread the word!

you may want to tweak the suspension alittle. couple of your photo makes me think you could bottom out (or near).

other than that, just gas and go. it looks like a real fun track.

Dunno if I can this year or not, I think that's a 4 hour haul for me, plus my mini needs tires and some motor TLC, but we'll see what happens.

Tweak? Is it adjustable? I bottomed the front out so I need to change the fluid and level.

Re: NEW PIT BIKE RACING SERIES IN VERMONT

Rear should be preload and rebound adjustable, front has no adjustments, you get to play with preload spacers and oil type/height. Hit up the SEMRA forum for suggestions, Thumpys are popular with them.

Re: NEW PIT BIKE RACING SERIES IN VERMONT

for the front, only thing to do is change it to heavier fork oil
for the rear, I've updated to a 3-way adjustable iShock, you can do whatever.
